It'll cost more screentime to give Woo-Shik's U-Juu reasons to fight for Me-Ri. What kind of reason for a rich guy like him to spend time helping Me-Ri? the writer use U-Juu's indebted feeling as a reason.

There are also many plot going on.

Like U-Ju office politic that involving his uncle and brother, U-Ju's relationship with his grandma and probably his parent accident.

From Meri, there is plot involving her ex, and we didnt see her family story uncover yet. There is also her present time problems.

And there is romance story for 2nd couple too.

I would like to erase some plots (like that uncle shady activities) and focus more on leads romance build-up.

Me too expect to see the funny things that going to happen when both leads accidently living together and slowly build their romantical feeling.

if this theory is true, probably Wo-Shik's U-Juu already grew feeling to adult Me-Ri anyway.

Because the show never introduce the sister of Me-Ri, It just 12 episodes, with many things going on, i dont think the showrunner have enough time to make the story more complicated with theory u have mentioned.

yeah i dont know why its like new trend among drama writers nowadays. same goes with white truck trope.

both U-Ju have many reason to stay close to Me-Ri.

there is second couple too, but not so interisting so far.

they met as a child, and wish to meet again. so it just lazy writing to build their feeling.

the writer skip the part where they should build their feeling naturally. Now the story have an excuse for Woo-Shik to fight for So-Min's Meri.

Without his past meeting with kid MeRi, it'll be strange if he keep helping Meri. Or the writer should make another storyline when they keep meet accidentally, and make Woo-Shik attracted to Meri.

still counted as entertaining, especially the 2 leads.

with only 12 episodes, and some plot going on, the writer make a shortcut to build their feeling.

This drama is where we came to watch So-Min in her comfort zone, and Woo-Shik. For short, i call this lazy writing.

yeah kinda agree to that, let them just be total stranger who just met recently.

i think So-Min is the biggest factor here, we can consume so many cliche because of her. Not to belittle Wo-Shik, he is good actor for sure, but not the biggest magnet

yeah, even this is just another fake marriage plot with so many cliche things going on, it have it own charm.

this drama won't be fun without So Min, no matter how good is Woo-Shik, So-Min is the magnet in this genre.

i think in many dramas, we are forced to believe that some of the female lead are average-looking.

Ji-Song's coworkers are also bad, they always excluded her. The only person being nice to her is because he like her in romantical way.

I think the only connection from this show to Islam is the word "Iblis".

This story is mentioned in holy Quran, yes. But this Netflix show didn't specifically adaptation of religion's verse.
