yes the chinese one is good, because it have more duration (episodes) the chinese one probably have more depth in story, character development and character conflict with each other. They developed as a single and a group. I'm really invested with many characters, it made me curious how is the career of both JianJiann's best friends.

First 4 episodes of Family by Choice is good, but the chinese one set a high bar. Personally i like the chinese one from the first impression of few early episodes.

Hard not to compare this with Korean version.
Go Ahead have more depth in story and the sibling relantionship.
While the Korean one feels faster in story's pace.

In Korean version they didnt show it yet how JunWoo meet Park Dal. But in og chinese, it kinda memorable moment for Park Dal (my apologize, hard to remember the chinese name of her).
And because its longer episodes, in chinese one, their relationship growth feels more natural.

Fyi, Chinese goverment have policy to restrict 1 kid per family, so when Park Dal see JianJian interaction with her brothers, she got culture shock because she is an only child. Then they started hang around together (4 of them).

Their portion arent really long, past family story arc just complicate present family's. And maybe to build conflict later with Ju-Won.

For me its not so heavy. But maybe you can focus more on positivd relationship of the siblings and both fathers.

Just watched 1st two episodes. I like the siblings chemistry, when they're kid and when they're in high school. Love kid Ju-Won, she is adorable with her expression.

Two male character have mom issue, we all can guess where the story goes, probably about their past resurface and disturb their happy life as family. Kinda dont like it the future stories, but i will still watch it, because i like them three, and 5, included both fathers who stayed.

Its romance, their character, background, or their mental issue is just things to make their romance complicated.

near end of episode 1 really made me curious. Like wait, what? thats not a dream?
I did read synopsis before watch it, but it still make me surprised and curious.

Hyeon-Oh and Eun-Ho communication is bad. Worst example of couples.

Eun-Ho and Hyeon-Oh cant hear to eachother. They cut when their spouse is talking, that is why they cant communicate well.

As for Hyeon-Oh, i think he have inferior feeling for female to like him, because he have 5 granny to take care.

it's still some rumours. Rumours came from misheard and misinformation.

Hyeon-Oh tried to explain to Eun-Ho (and give us explanation too), but Eun-Ho cut his speak so she didn't get explanation (and so do us).

Still we dont clearly see where is that marriage rumours come from, but you got to see the ending of episode 8.

He came to Eun-Ho's place, stoped then staring at the stairs, visual effect transitioned to another spot of Eun-Ho's place. The scene showed Hae-Ri's bike, visual effect transitioned to the same spot but Hae-Ri's bike is gone now.

We can say them both is delusional. And people who ship Hae-Ri and Ju-Yeon want to escape their reality too.
