Their relationship is so toxic, and the characterisations are shallow...truly a guilty pleasure watch. I enjoyed the first half and fast forwarded the rest
Omg I just found out that the ML/FL actor and actress can actually sing in reality too and their voices are so nice! Saw a clip of them dueting the theme song with the actress playing the guitar
I love how in ep11 the ML looked so damn proud of FL when she was resolving the work crisis in the car, and again at the evening party when she spoke in fluent english and interacted with the other guests so confidently
If the drama follows the novel, Jiashang’s father killed shizhen’s parents, who were the actual Rongs. Jiashang’s father than took over Rong’s identity and pretended to be him
I am here entirely for the sexual tension, pls if even us as viewers are so frustrated (in a good way of course😉), let alone the characters themselves lol
Having caught up to episode 15, I have somethings to say,1. This drama is definitely based on real events because…
Yeah exactly! I think people who don’t understand the FL’s actions/thought process are probably lacking in life experience. In real life, relationships are messy messy. Breaking up is messy and the back and forth is so real, it is not easy to let go of 10 years worth of a relationship that started out good.
The editing has been so weird in recent episodes. I watched the behind-the-scenes footage and the theme park date was actually after they got together, there was even a kiss scene, but it got edited in a way that they went to the theme park before they got together so all the lovey dovey scenes were cut?!
And when they got together, FL said that ML explained about the misunderstanding with the notebook of girls’ names via the game that they all played at the company retreat, but that part in the game wasn’t shown so I was initially confused by what the FL said. Why would you edit out a scene that the characters make reference to later in the next scene?!
I just saw a preview on Twitter and it made me so mad ahvfhvbjrbgjrbgjwrbvbIf there's no perfectly good explanation…
I saw someone said that she just got forced by her family to take a family photo together (my guess is her father becomes ill and she’s fulfilling his wish) but they’re not getting married. Hope that’s true!
I really like how part of why ML is attracted to FL is because of her warmth (alot of it which stems from her family and upbringing), it’s something ML didnt have growing up. And when FL comes to understand ML’s past and family background better, she feels heartache for him.
After watching so many cdramas and getting bored at certain dramas that people raved about, rolling my eyes at cliched dramas I had to drop after a while, AND yet liking random cheesy dramas like this one, I have come to realise that it all boils down to -personal taste-. And my personal taste somehow came to really like this drama despite the leaps of logic I’ve somehow had to make lol.
