Yeah he is providing info but he is not much on the screen. This exactly what they do when they don't want us to find about villain, they simply get rid of that character or show him/rarely. He is giving them informations and he does seem like a good person but it wasn't necessarily useful for them except the time he told them about ill omens.

I love how the story is going so far. It has little spooky vibes. Full of adventures and funny characters! They are giving just enough information to wonder while they are unraveling the secrets. I like the side romance and it doesn't feel unnecasary at all

Shen Kun seems like a really suspicious person. He seems like a good person as well but in the 3rd omen, he said there was gonna be more before they went there. How did he figure it. Although there wasn't really an ill omen more than one there was savage. One time he was on a phone call with Mu Dai, he wanted to say something but he hesitated because lights started flickering. Which means we don't know if he said what he wanted or not. I might be paying attention to little details to much but why did he get scared so easily, does he have someone he knows and fears??

In the ancient times they got rid of ill omens by the help of heaven's because some brave person was trying to fight them off. The same is happening currently and it makes me think that they will also be granted something. Maybe a special power? Because martial arts is not enough.

About Mu Dai and her second side
Some people are saying her second identity has the ill omen but it might be the opposite. Because, whenever she was in danger while fighting with ill omens her another side activated which means whatever her other side is, it is against them. Plus, if her another identity had ill omen, it wouldn't be on the poster. You can see from the poster that it's not the usual Mu Dai but dark Mu Dai. Does that hint that this side of her is going to last long?
