It does get better. The animal thing is still weird for a few episodes, but then it pretty much fizzles out by the end. The ML becomes more normal with every episode, so much so that the first-episode version of him feels like a fever dream. That said, complete redemption was hard for me as a viewer.
So conflicted. Bro definitely deserved jail for orchestrating a damn gang r*pe and attempted murder in ep 1. But he was so good to WW. Lol, why couldn’t they make him more sane from the start 🥲
Honestly, I get why this is controversial. The relationship is kinda toxic, with both characters having their own issues. Despite that, I really liked it. I would suggest that those who watched this season also watch season 2 and the movie. It touches on many of the issues and there definitely is character growth by the end of it. Is it a good representation of healthy relationships? Lol no. But are all real relationships healthy? The acting, chemistry, direction, and cinematography make it a compelling drama.
Fun watch although it dragged a bit at the end. FL's acting was great, ML was good too but chemistry was meh. A few plot holes like what was the point of the Satan and Kylum storyline.
The leads are cute together but honestly the story is mid. Went in expecting so much more given all the love its got. Was pretty much watching the last 10 episodes in 2x.
While I liked the main couple, I personally thought the FL and her brother had the best relationship and chemistry lol. They’re both really talented and probably the best actors among the young gen cast.
One of the best Chinese dramas I've seen in a while. The acting is amazing for the most part, with a solid plot and strong characters. It’s my first time seeing Qin Jun Jie, and I’m absolutely impressed. The last scene in ep 30 will always be one of my favorites.
Liked the first couple of episodes but omg the filters/airbrushing or whatever is soo distracting. The main characters look less human with their blurry, poreless faces than the ghosts. But this seems to be a trend in a lot of Asian dramas these days, so can't blame them but also can't get past it. 🥲
Not even surprised. Seems like my vibes radar is spot on, even after all these years. I clocked Kim Hyun Joong even at the peak of his BOF fame, and now, finally, I understand why I never liked this guy. There are no secrets in the entertainment industry. Everyone who knew and stayed complicit has failed Kim Sae Ron.
I want to like this and to a certain extent it's a fun watch, but Force really falls short in acting compared to the rest. It distracts from the emotional scenes and even actors like Khaotung and Mark can't seem to direct their emotions to him. And Book isn't a good enough actor to make their chemistry work. I say this with absolutely no hate, dude is super attractive and would love to see him improve.

Haha, i guess that's one way to look at it. But having someone who I'm not dating secretly sneak back into my house while I'm sleeping, take my house keys, and peck me on my neck doesn't seem to be my thing. I would even kinda understand if their mutual feelings had already been expressed or if they were casually seeing each other, but like at this point they were not at that stage. This crossed too much into unhealthy obession territory for me. But not gonna lie they are still a cute couple :)
It's a cute show and I'm enjoying it, but am I the only one who was kinda (really) creeped out by the end of episode 3. If that happened to me in real life I would be freaking out 😅
I don't get what people are mad about. I don't think it's fair to bring the same mindset of ITSAY to this season because the characters and their lives are not the same anymore. If there is one thing constant in this world, that is change. The same applies to this show. View it from a different lens and you'll see the reality and beauty of this season. If ITSAY is the butterflies in the stomach teen years, then IPYTM is the existential crisis 20s. Clearly, the show has grown but the audience hasn't and it's no one's fault. To each their own. But let's all keep in mind that this is just a show and be nice to the people who made it for us. :)
This was honestly such a beautiful series. From the acting to the realistic storytelling, everything was just so amazing. Also, the OST is heaven!! While I hope for another season to see this brilliance again, I still love the ending. It felt real cause not everything in life ends perfectly! Glad I didn't miss out on this.
