Ok, I really don't think the last scene is about Teh not having study materials and he regretting it. I mean,…
Yup, I agree with your take on it! But I also think a part of why he broke down completely after seeing the ripped pages was because he realized how much of himself he had actually given away for Oh and for the feelings that he believed would not last. (Remember he told Oh that one day he would stop feeling like this) This coupled with the fact that he had disappointed his family and not got the desired reaction from Oh, I guess seeing those ripped pages must have actually struck as a huge wake up call of how much he loved Oh and what extent he was willing to go for him.
Thank you so much for compiling this. For some reason, I'm kinda surprised that the best rated Korean and Japanese…
I get what you mean. Untamed is the top rated drama on MDL right now and that just doesn't seem to be an accurate assessment. While I have watched Untamed and loved it, there are still several other amazing pieces of work that truly deserve a higher rating.
I was also born on 29 March 1994. As someone who suffers from depression, this hit me hard. I'm not much of a K-pop follower, but to see someone exactly the same age as me take their life is so heartbreaking. I hope she finds peace.
This is ridiculous. Nothing about this love story is well intended. I feel it should have a PG18 warning or something just because I don't want young people to believe that such a manipulative and controlling relationship is 'love'. I mean even Korean dramas are moving away from the overbearing male lead trope, time for a change China. P.S. go watch Her Private Life just to see what a healthy and respectful relationship looks like
It's mostly cute fan service and a sponsored ad for the hair salon :P But seriously, even though Perth is the youngest, he is hands down the best actor. Can't wait to see him in more roles.
This was like watching Netflix's choose your adventure show, Bandersnatch. The difference being that there weren't any choices given you to, instead, you have to use your deduction skills and intuition to make a choice that fits the story. The direction, editing, and screenplay ruined what could have been a realistic depiction of gay relationships. However, while the acting left a lot to be desired, the pair was cute.
Wow. I've never seen a BL where I've been so annoyed by the lead pair. I get they love each other and love is messy. But honestly, these two men are just selfish and it makes it hard for me to root for them. Love each other but don't hurt others along the way. (I guess I'm just watching this cause I'm a sucker for good kiss scenes :P )
It's been a while since I've managed to binge-watch an entire drama. The story's nothing new but the execution, acting and character development throughout the drama makes it one of the best youth romances I've seen. Didn't expect anything while starting but ended up really enjoying it. Also, a huge plus for me was that there weren't any downright hateful characters.
This movie really seemed like an inspiration from Haruki Murakami's Kafka on the Shore. Aside from the lead's name being Kafka, the cinematography and the story resemble Murakami's style of magical realism which was depicted through the drug-induced scenes. It was an interesting movie about the dark side of life. Not everyone's cup of tea though.
This was the best asian sci-fi drama I've seen! So good. I just have a question. Will circulate 3(Kim Woo Jin) be the same age forever? How do clones even live out their lives?
This drama was an amazing surprise. It's been a while that I've watched a Japanese drama that made me feel so many emotions. It lingers long after it's over.
The thing I like most about this drama is how refreshingly honest all the characters are. They might not be honest with themselves about their own feelings but they're at the least honest to everyone else. This makes the show devoid of any unnecessary makjang and a really pleasant watch. There are no evil secondary characters and I actually like every single one of them especially Hye Won who breaks from the stereotypical manipulative second female lead.
This show is everything!! It's been so long that I've seriously enjoyed every minute of a drama. There are barely any shows which I wish wouldn't end and this is one of those. Just brilliant!
I'm just mind-blown by how good this show is. Week after week such quality writing and acting. It's like the perfect blend of drama, comedy, romance, family and friendship. I really hope they can keep this momentum up till the last episode.
(I guess I'm just watching this cause I'm a sucker for good kiss scenes :P )
