ready to get skewered for this but im not into big age gaps regardless of which way it goes which sucks bc I love the fake relationship trope 😩 I'll say that in this case, theyre both adults and there's no issue beyond my personal preference, but I absolutely hate age gaps that are actually problematic where its like an adult dating a child, and the unbalanced power dynamics of these types of relationships

Update: I watched it and I genuinely don't know how anyone can call the FL cold? Like she very much wasn't imo, she was receptive and open with him and they both had so much fun together?? I loved how she wasn't overly shy either, they both felt so natural. You were super right, fire chemistry, and imo they were what kept me going instead of dropping it

I really want more main leads like in this lakorn. Honestly, I felt like I had to wade through soooo much crap but the scenes with the mains were truly lovely. Fantastic chemistry, and both imo were invested. The FL wasn't overly shy, she actually had so many moments of cuteness and being genuine and open with him. She was never unreasonable or condescending. The ML was just breathtaking, I don't have the words to describe what his smile does to me.

I loved how expressive they both were, and I adored their interactions with each other and the dynamic that they had. I lived for the moments of being a married couple between these two, like him checking out her ass or them flirting so casually and naturally, and it saved this lakorn. There were so many things about this couple that are so rare in dramas and lakorns specifically, like how they legit TALKED to each other and it felt like two equals instead of a man treating a woman like a child (tho ofc I still wish she were a little more self sufficient). No stupid dragged out misunderstandings, they were a team!

I want this exact drama with a lot more of /them/ like I'd be about to quit and drop it, then a scene with them two would come on and id be grinning like a fool and suddenly its 3am and im contemplating quitting my job

FREAKING. GORGGGGEEOUSS

Ep 6 - "if either of u [shady idiots] can get rid of [the man who has shown repeatedly that he is genuine, kind, and treats my daughter well] then I will give you [the power to ruin the company I built with my first wife]" I frickin hate this man so much, his ego is bigger than his face // ok but do none of these girlies ever taste the food that they've made for the first time before serving it T__T // im having so much fun WATcHING These two like the way they embody their characters and interact, their expressions, SO GOOD // I love this ML so frickin much I wish that the dad were less annoying so I could enjoy their development more - at the birthday/cake scene and I legit hate this man so damn much LMFAO I know this show is gonna break its back to redeem him and show that hes not that bad but idc he sucks

Ep 7 - fr how r u gna never celebrate her birthday, and then all of a sudden throw her a surprise party and expect her to be there when she's never been given any reason to believe she means more to you than a cake delivered by someone else // god and then im grinning like a fool bc now its the mains // ok .. wtf ... I might have some hope that this dad acknowledges his faults and learns from them? .. idk.... // man I feel so bad for Lin growing up in that household // all these villain characters are absolute losers // "tonight I wanna cuddle my wife" guys ill kms god? when is it me // im rlly ride or die for Aunt Nut and if they.....make any romantic overtures with her and the dad........I will become violent but I frickin love this scene of her telling him point blank hes a shit dad, and that Lins been lonely since childhood

Ep 9 - lmfao at this step mom playing victim when she literally tried to murder somebody

Ep 10 - these two are so frickin funny and charming together and I would wade thru so much shit to see them // NO BC I LOVE THEM SO MUCH I LOVE THE MOMENTS OF THEM BEING A MARRIED COUPLE IN THEIR ROOM I LOVE HIM CHECKING OUT HER ASS I LOVEE THEMMMM // no but I legit cant take unreasonable and awful characters like Nat like ik theyre gna redeem the whole step family and I hate it they suck and also are so frickin annoying

EP 11 - Im such an easy mark bc why am I kinda softening to dad and youngest sis.......must be the childhood abuse

Ep 12 - no I hate the younger sis husband he can rot in hell with the other sis, her ugly ass man, and their mom // legit soooo much I dont care about I just want the mains

Ep 14 - the scene at the end w lil sister, the safe, the uggo creep - man I knew she would get caught bc bad things happen to all women in lakorns, but bad things follow THROUGH with secondary female characters in lakorns (i.e. fl might get assaulted but will be saved before it gets even worse vs secondary female character will get r*ped and battered) // idc if this sounds horrible, since she's a fictional character I can truly say that her losing her baby is a good thing bc nu is not a man to raise a child with - I wish she wasn't traumatized and abortion was an accessible shame free option but alas // I get that theyre making uggo creep the Main Villain and all the family issues are on him but nah nah idc ill never forgive the step family who abused FL throughout her childhood and also attempted to murder her // OK THE TWO OF THEM IN THE HOTTUB THIS IS THE SHIT IM TALKING ABOUT BOTH THESE ACTORS ARE SO FRICKIN CHARMING

Ep 15 - Ok one thing I really do have to admit is that this show does NOT pull its punches with explicitly saying the dad is a shitty dad and all the issues now are his fault, they also dont let him deny it. its just like common knowledge LOL // ok he keeps lying to her and I do wish this would have some consequences for him but I know it won't as in he's gna save her or something and this just won't matter, but I loveee when MLs, esp self assured ones, face a little angst as a consequence of their actions and imo FL has been very open and accepting of him and I'd love for her to be like "hey this actually hurt me, I shared so much of myself with you meanwhile you were lying to me the whole time and it turns out I don't know you at all" and him to truly be like "fuck" // LMFAO MY DUDE, HORRIBLE START TO THE CONVO "I actually did try to tell u in the beginning the truth about my profession but u didnt believe me so I just decided to keep lying" LOL // ok lol her reaction is a lot diff than mine would've been if someone had been lying to me but its ok T_T

Idk like I can agree that how awful certain villains are or full context is missed if you don’t watch season 1 and obv there are Easter eggs you could miss, but I didn’t find it difficult to follow the storyline, even beyond the new couple. Like I think you can pick up a lot from context really easily (for ex it’s easy to tell chairman do tried to bring down the hospital before but how and why aren’t super relevant to still understanding this drama by itself) But my point is that you can still watch this drama in a vacuum and understand it without absolutely needing to watch s1. It IS possible to watch this without confusion having missed s1

Rlly loved this drama, and im frickin stoked there'll be a season 3 with the same characters. I loved the FL and do wish she had more of a focus because to me this def read as ML's story more than hers, (compared only to each other and not overall), but I loved her moments and I hope we see significantly more next time!!!
