incredible drama to depths I cant even articulate but another one where the romance dipped and never fully recovered which is so gutting. this made me feel so many things only for the last thing to be 'slightly disappointed'

ACTUALLY one other thing AGAIN because the viki comments rlly pissed me off and I just remembered - people were so quick and vehement in judging the FL. this in itself isn’t unique to this show, but I was actually really shocked at how callous people were about her mom being sick. Like, she is her moms only daughter, they seem to have no other relatives nearby, only her friend and her friends parents. FL wasn’t even trying to spend every waking moment with her mom, just make sure she had her meals on time and had some company. The things people were saying about her - Jesus Christ. Also, the complete lack of regard for her trauma that would obviously shape the way she reacts to things, a trauma she hasn’t fully processed and one that she has constant dejavu with. I was genuinely upset by this, like the lack of empathy rlly sucked to see

Actually one other thing … I’m lowkey already forgetting but I think I liked the FL and also empathized with her behaviour HOWEVER this drama rlly did remind me of that infuriating trend in dramas where otherwise great FLs will be written to go mute at key moments, or do things or find themselves in situations contrary to their character!!!! (I watched a drama right after this that amplified this af too)

and of course, with c-dramas specifically, they always fall apart in the last few eps. You just gotta learn to ~rewrite in ur head~ or ~withdraw interest~ That’s why I didn’t finish the last ep (not through rage quitting but just losing interest. I’d been skipping more and more near the end) but can still say I liked the drama

I didn’t finish the last episode, but honestly all in all a cute and enjoyable drama. Two notes though 1) I had to rely on viki for subs… 2) I kept getting distracted by the ML because he looks like a celebrity mashup of Lee Jae Wook and … Benedict Cumberbatch LMFAO

I’m on so 18 (did not sleep) and honestly …I kinda love it LOL it’s a lakorn, and there are def issues, but I’ve been having a good time. You have to kinda just ignore FL’s career. There is proof around her being innocent but … I can’t explain it u have to turn ur brain off for a lot of things but ultimately the FL doesn’t really stand for people talking shit and I rlly like her (sometimes despite the script)

Rewatch: ok tbh I feel pretty horrible about how I kinda blew past this my first time but the scene of her forcefully touching and kissing him rlly sucked like he was shaking and crying and she violated his boundaries and that’s rlly awful :(

ep 3 - from the jump and to now I have rllly been liking the (step) dad. NOOOO I legit HATE plagiarism it makes me so anxious omfg no I hate this

ep 5 - how isn't she more pressed to prove she didn't plagiarize T__T honestly the kid and the dad on the airplane might be able to testify

ep 6 - ok hehe i rlly like this. her leading the design team shows that the company doesnt think she plagiarized which is more efficient than proof that u have to explain and defend. also, this goes back to what the step dad was saying - with some people, you need to be able to exert power because without it they will fuck you ALSO im enjoying the dynamic between the leads sooo much I adore them both individually AND together

ep 7 - FL is so frickin cute im losing it / she knew the lingerie would fail, im rlly surprised she made no efforts for damage control?? like I low-key thought she was unreachable in the morning bc she was doing something to help. the copycat def sucks and her superior blocked her efforts, but they were bare bones efforts and she IS an employee and the team lead so she should've been more responsible / im surprised she actually listened to the brother and became the models personal shopper...that was OOC

ep 8 - ok lots of things I like about drama and FL but her career is not one of them LMFAO how is she leading the design team but had to be told by some random kid to hire a famous influencer or something

ep 9 - i rlly dont know why FL insisted on this brat being the company rep bc like her personality is so unreliable and volatile. it doesnt matter if she has a lot of IG followers, her behaviour is gonna backfire on u guys. plus, for FL to constantly take the disrespect??? / oh SHIT ML literally just voiced my thoughts I love this guy sm he's such a refreshing ML / ok no rolling the food on the BENCH is nasty as hell girl..oh nvm it was a hard boiled egg / HES so cute when he grins I love that she brings out his mischievous side and he flusters her too I love ittttt he truly is a cutie pie / ugh if the influencer had to return I wish she was the one who facilitated it and saw the error in her ways / I rlly hate this current state between FL and the bro

Ep 10 - why Tf is the copycat even allowed to head the lingerie collab project…idgi like u hire a volatile spokesperson and then let a malicious designer head this pivotal project / ML IS SO FRICKIN CUTE / bro…how is the copycat gonna sabotage everything and constantly get away with it and FL seems to just take these losses and not do anything and it doesn’t even make sense or align with her character like she took NO steps to protect herself against KNOWN enemies, it had to be ML who caught copycat the second time, and even ML who exposed her for the first / copycat is a narcissist idk why they thought he’d fall in line also they went through with the whole expose but didn’t stop their event from getting messed up?

Ep 11 - he had to say some mean shit to/about her to get the gma to back off (she has no mom no home she’s easy to control) and he didn’t mean it but I rlly wish it snapped some sense into her. Bc wtf is she doing tbh! Her career imo is truly a mess / it’s not Keethika who is disgusting and filthy, it’s the grandma. ML doesn’t owe grandma shit. You are OWED as a child. She legally adopted him and has an obligation to HIS care, not the other way around. He has no gratitude to pay back she did jack I hate her sm

Ep 12 - the ring thing, I wasn’t into it but .. the Ml is so cute gah Ik he had to intercept a ring his BRO got for the girl he’s actually into but I hope he gets her a new ring idk….ALSO do think it’s weird they wrote the FL to continue wearing a wedding ring around work under that premise like that…doesn’t sound like her but there are a lot of moments like this imo / the one thing FL did with her job here was fight tooth and nail to get this ungrateful and bratty influencer here / the sound I just made - r u frickin kidding me they brought back copycat god / I LEGIT DONT GET WHY FL IS STILL WORKING HERE she now has proof that copycat is unhinged like WHY WHY WHY

Ep 13 - the sister following FL back home I am sick I am sick

Ep 14 - I’m still enjoying this drama a lot but I rlly hate how they just….make FL go along with everything like she has no agency. The bro Is moving in and it’s WEIRD she also already rejected him. I wished she had made it clear that it’s not even bc of the grandma / that being said tho I’m super enjoying her and her harem LMAO “let’s team up to take that dork out” I’m dead / I wish there was more focus / work being done on FL and sister + sister and bro like I think both could be rlly cute

Ep 15 - this plot line of FL being sent to rep GU with her designs would finally show her capability but I read another spoiler saying they forget about this plot line. I’d rather they forget tho than introduce another stupid plagiarism thing / ok I’m kinda getting tired of the harem tho I need more meaningful moments between the leads asap / fl is in a makeshift tent crying “I should have never “ and she’s being vulnerable while ML comforts her so … ask and u shall receive / the changes in ML were so gradual and good like his increased skinship and comfort with her

Ep 19 - honestly … I bet some people would say FL is fucked up for giving him the ultimatum of her or his grandma, but I disagree. Blood ties are never more important than your health and well-being, that grandma is genuinely abusive and deserves to lose the people in her life. She didn’t make that ultimatum to be vindictive, she just refused to put herself in constant risk and danger for the sake of someone else’s misplaced sense of debt. / “thank you…for letting me go” honestly the best thing this witch did “thank u for teaching me the warmth of love and family” bitch where lmfao ml didn’t even say it sarcastically … I wish these dramas would actually label characters like the grandma as abusive. He was neglected, exploited, never given any love, couldn’t even refer to her as grandma / r u kidding no way did it end in a car crash and this is gna be grandmas redemption 🙄

Honestly, cute drama. Skipped through the entire last episode, last five mins was cute despite the weird robot. A lot of things I didn’t like but ultimately was able to forgive bc the characters I loved and liked vastly outnumbered those I didn’t. The leads were really cute, and I had a good time watching them. PLSSS more non-toxic MLs like this cutie!! More FLs like Kanghan too, who i loved (sometimes despite the script) there was nothing in the plot I overwhelmingly hated, and the things that could’ve been rlly annoying (bro objecting to leads relationship) were minimized

This drama is a masterpiece. In my opinion, it actually balances light and heartwarming moments with the inevitable devastation. I hope every person who worked on this, esp the actors who portrayed such complex emotions so incredibly, are thoroughly proud of their work. This show is nuanced, poignant, authentic, and beautiful.

The comments here I vehemently disagree with btw. Like, the pace was perfect. The themes explored were important and really well done, especially the conversation of adoption. It breaks my heart to see how entrenched cultures are in filial piety to blood parents. I also really appreciate that the romance mostly took a secondary role, and the elements of hurt/comfort were so good. I really truly believe everything was perfectly balanced for what the drama is, and I grew attached to these characters as if I knew them personally. I also SO SO SO SO SOOOOO appreciate seeing HEALTHY and happy family dynamics. These characters were so full of support and love for one another. My heart is breaking even thinking about them, and the bond they've forged. The main theme of terminal illness and facing death both for the person who is ill and their loved ones was incredibly done. I really feel a lack of adjectives in trying to describe my feelings about this show.

There was not one moment it felt slow to me.

Before you watch though, TW themes of death, loss, adoption (I did not see the terminal illness tag....imagine my shock). I bawled my eyes out so much that I fear I have no liquids left in me. I don't even watch sad/heavy dramas usually!! But the way this was presented, I fell into it. I miss her...
