Five Stars

This episode was great. It shows how Sung Jae has to rely on his own cooking skills without the system guidance and how Dong Hyeon can make a decent meal with confidence and determination.

Flavor Boy Regains His Flavor

Lost some points because I’m not a fan of the bullying at the start of the episode, but it’s also where you learn why this bully character carries so much hate. The writer clearly wanted you to sympathize with them. It gets better in the second half as a food memory and taste help heal the bully's hateful heart.

Had to wait towards the end for it to be enjoyable

Not a full 5 stars because Seong Jae's food success only really shines towards the end. That’s when things got interesting, especially with the music video introduction of the boy group, the Flavor Boys. lol.

Make sure you have tissues!

First episode beautifully acted out and at the same time, felt very real. The effects of bullying and school violence on kids and how it affects family is shown very well here. It's a strong drama premiere and yet very hard to watch emotionally. Looking forward more to this drama even though I know I will cry on more scenes, especially if they have these beautiful osts playing with these scenes.
