you are right in today's ep, it shows what they didn't show yesterday before the goddess died she sent out the 2 halves of the token, one for wen xiao and Zhu Yan who was at the scene captured the other half.
I have a feeling the other half of the token they're looking for is actually inside Zhu Yan.
