This was my second JDrama ever. I watched it about 16 years ago and rewatching it on Neflix now made me so happy, it's still so touching and sweet ðŸ˜
Soo I don't know much about the game, but I've watched enough clips of it to know the premise. I wanna know what…
It is not very scary, there are about two little jumpscares and two scenes with a bit of gore/that I found a bit icky, but it's not very graphic or overly scary horror at all. It's more psychological.
This was my first JDrama ever and now that it's on Netflix, it was definitely time for a rewatch! Still love it to pieces; the randomness and comedy, the OST, the lovable characters, that it doesn't take itself to seriously - it's what makes this drama so special. Granted, from nowadays perspective, some things wouldn't probably be done the same way with queer characters, but if you look at it from a 2007-perspective, it's a wonderful lovable show with quirky characters and laugh-out-loud scenes that still holds up as a classic. Nakatsu is still best boy and it breaks my heart again to see him so confused and sad at times, what did Mizuki only see in grumpy Sano ;__;
I love mysteries and I love zombies, so I was really excited to see this. But this is really hard to watch. And maybe it is just the really bad quality stream I am using but the constant cuts and weird camera angles every view seconds make me feel dizzy after just some minutes. It's so weird, it's like a movie cut for the tiktok-generation were it switches and cuts every few seconds to portray some type of movement and make people not lose interest. Everyone else feeling like this?
I have watched this show for the first time many, many years ago, like maybe in 2011. I used to love it and considered it one of the cleverest JDramas. I am currently rewatching after watching modern shows like Alice in Borderland and Squid Game and while I still enjoy the games here and Akiyama as the best character, the other characters are just infuriating.... Nao and Fukunaga being the worst! Nao is as stupid as it gets and Fukunaga is so terribly overacted that I can't take him seriously.
Does anyone know more about this show coming to Disney+? I'm in Europe and can't find it, it's also not the typical show you would expect Disney+ to stream in my country.
I really wish he would get back into acting again, he is so talented T.T He hasn't stared in a drama for years now and I have watched nearly all the things he was in :(
