?? I am confused. Are you talking about the male lead? When was he a jerk? He is one of the nicest and most loyal…
Haha! i had a feeling i was gonna get this question. Okay so my pov: at first when he didn't know who she was he was acting rude. Like dude cant's take criticism about his food from a model who he presumed knows nothing about culinary art (prejudiced much!). But that i'll let go. then when he started doubting her to be Yuan Yuan he started following her and hitting on her but the moment he thought she was not, he dumped her and left -- the shoe scene when he was looking for her scar. then again when they were on the tree running from the dog, he was about to kiss her and when he realised she may not be yy, again he dumped her and left, like on a tree-top in the middle of the night. The next morning his feeling refreshed so again he followed her to the photoshoot, which was his company's though, got jealous like a bf, stopped the shoot and when she was expressing her displeasure of the previous night with being sarcastic he didn't even apologise properly and acted like she didn't have the right to chase her with a shoe in hand (i'd have). Left again. And every time he acted like a brat the writers made sure to insert a scene of him swooping in and saving Eva from some kinda situation and she swooned like he was her knight in shining armor. This happened continuously till he was sure that she was yy. even then when she asked him about his issue with his mum he was rude again and said it's not her business. And for heaven's sake why does he never apologise to EVA! I see his love for YY. But what about some respect for Eva? If she was not yy he would've dumped and hurt her after leading her on. I liked the show only after they finally got together at episode 15. Then everything was sweet and he was a great bf. But he was obviously not a good candidate to fall in love with before that. Just my opinion. I always have completely different povs than others. I have a lot of good stuff to say about the actors though which I had been meaning to mention in a comment. but laziness always gets the best of me. lol. :)
Its an adaptation from it yes. In fact they all are adapted from the japanese one Hana Yori Dango. (Who is an…
I watched that first. My first kdrama. Then the Taiwanese Meteor Garden and then Hana Yori. Liked the Taiwanese one and hana yori better. The acting was fantastic. Those were the days when Taiwanese dramas had stories and good acting and Japanese had good acting. Ah, Oguri!
Not all villains, but at least one. Probably just me, but I wanna see the hero rewarded at the end of the season and then he could just go fake-die or whatever. I would've been less impatient if the next season wouldn't have been after almost 2 years. I am saying this on the basis of what I have seen so far. It's very much possible that I would be perfectly satisfied with the ending when I reach there. Let's see what happens.
Is nirvana as good as this one? I mean in terms of, the perfect mixture of comedy, story consistency and pacing throughout, never one second getting boring? I know the acting would be good since the actors are pretty awesome especially Wang kai.
Edit: Episode 2 -- wtf!
I am still on this :( level.
