I have just started watching and at episode 3 and Sayon annoys me so much. That girl has no respect for Do has' boundaries and then Do ha says that her getting in scandal is his fault too. The only way he could be be held at fault for this is him not getting her a 5 year masterclass in understanding other people's privacy. Ironically, she has perfect toxic fan traits.
I m not happy or sad after watching this show because I can't understand what is going on. How old and young ml…
The old ml was the real ml, Nam Si Heon, who went back to his original body after the plane accident that he's gonna have in Yeon Jun's body. And the young ml is Si Heon still in Yeon Jun's body about to have the plane accident. The old ML came to warn the young to not board the plane so this ongoing cycle of him dying and then fl missing him and going into Minju's body and so on can stop.

I loved Yunru's character writing and how Ko Chia Yen played her or she was directed to play. She changed her whole body language to suit the character. Her eyes always looking down, insecure.
As someone who did watched the original, I really tried watching ATCY with no biases. But it is hard to do so…
I think the actors are playing the characters differently too (not a bad thing), not exactly like the ogs. The Fl's portrayal of both the characters are different from KCY. Even when she's the other girl in the past, she's not exactly gloomy. She's sad, and introverted and lonely but in a cute way, not gloomy in the true sense like Chen Ru yu was. Chen Ru Yu had a darkness and selfishness about her which stemmed from the constant neglect, lack of love and loneliness. You could feel she is on the verge of doing something bad to either herself or others. Like if Satan made an offer, she'd have accepted in a heartbeat. The desperation was so palpable. Hers was a grey character. This could also be a writing and directing flaw. They aren't being able to capture the emotions properly so far. I am at episode 3 and I am still liking the story and actors. But there are obviously differences.
Chen Yu Ru's thick (not light and for the sake of it) bangs have a huge significance in the storytelling. They symbolize her introverted personality. They were meant to hide her face. When Huang Shuan possessed (for lack of a better word) her body, she changed her hairstyle and clipped back the bangs because she was not shy to reveal her face and eyes because she was a confidence-bomb.
I have always liked Film but I was mindboggled by his role in To sir, with love and here again he is fantaztic. For some reason the BLs he does explore his range more than the straight Lakorns. Talking about the characters he plays and his performances. They are fun to watch.
I am at episode 9 and Lee Yong Ki's character is the worst. No development. He started with getting on my nerves and now I want him to get falsely accused of corruption and then dead in some ditch. The problem is no one disciplines or calls him out for his assholery. He's not funny, he's a piss of shit.
Well, this was really entertaining! Can someone suggest me more similar dramas? I have seen and loved Guest, Beyond Evil, Signal, Tunnel... what else π€ Anyway, looking for fantasy mystery dramas without romance. Also seen Island, Tomorrow, Uncanny counter.
