But there are many great dramas there w/c are worth crying for, an example is The Queen's Classroom.

Kdrama Terminology 101: OTP means One True Pairing. It means there are no flaws in the chemistry, the team up is so convincing, they so compliment each other onscreen and you just want them to end up being together in real life. Another OTP is Reply 1997 and That Windy well, I think Buzzer Beat too.

I love melos. I love crying. Haha! But I hate dramas/romcom that are way cheesy and too much cute. Can't handle that, maybe the teens can, but not me. For example: Flower Boy Next Door, Flower Boy Ramyun Shop. (I'm not a hater for flower boy series since I loved Shut Up Flower Boy Band)

Oh, so you love time-travelling dramas now! Again, I'm happy coz you're enjoying it. Next try Rooftop Prince or Queen Inhyun's Man. RP is a bit hilarious and so is QIHM. QIHM is more centered on romance/skinship.

My first Kdrama is Jewel in the Palace followed by Autumn Tale.

Well, I absolutely agree on that. We can see most of those in a melodrama I think. Because not all romcoms tend to have that authentic romance you're looking for. Except for Queen Inhyun's Man w/c had excellent skinship and kissing scenes that made the story relevant, and not just for the sake of the "kiss scene" for us to be intrigued or what. Not to mention, the chemistry was way way better than any other OTPs out there. Some samples of authentic romance I've seen would be (idk if you'll agree, or if you've seen them) Buzzer Beat, Pride, Bara no nai Hanaya, Coffee Prince, Pasta, Dolphin Bay(tw drama)... these are some of the dramas I've seen that had authenticity about romance. And Winter Sonata.

So there. I'm not really in for OTPs. As long as the storyline's unique that's fine with me. OTP then will be carried on as I watch.

So do you prefer melos than romcom?
