hmmm idk how theyre setting her up though. she's been getting hate mostly bc people thought that her crying sm in the ex room didnt seem genuine at all, and then the 2 ex reveal made it seem even more stupid. i dont think the production has manipulated her scenes in any way to portray her in a bad light. i see it w minkyung a lot though, and many people have pointed it out too, how they add bgm and knife slashing sounds every time she speaks. even in the pd's interview the way she talked about hyunji and yoosik made it obvious that theyre her picks. also, i think its p obvious that the reason they arent uploading yoosik & hyunjis date is bc the comment section will be full of hate comments. my point is, they should either switch off all comments or not do it at all; why are they protecting certain cast members while leaving the others (minkyung, jiyeon) to get hate?

its funny seeing how blatantly the production is favouring certain cast members, idk how they don't realise that them doing this is just getting them more hate. they take down or not upload videos of yoosik and hyunji, but keep up jiyeon's videos even though she's getting a lotttttttttt of hate too. they edited that one scene where yoosik was grabbing minkyung's wrist roughly, cut out yoosik from the scene to only show minkyung moving her hand. when minkyung and yoosik had that argument outside, yoosik was getting tons of lashings so they took the video down and reuploaded it while including an extra minkyung scene. not to mention the weird ass editing they did in ep 12 when minkyung and jihyun were talking to the new guy. making it seem like they're competing against each other when theyre v clearly on good terms. the thing is, the editing is so blatant, so obvious that even if yoosik and hyunji dont deserve the hate they will keep getting it bc the production team is deliberately creating resentment among the viewers by showing their weird favouritism.

yoosik was over her way before the ex room. i think his feelings had faded even before they broke up, but thats just me speculating. there's NO way he changed his mind just bc of the ex room, i dont think it played even 1% of a part in his decision to move on.

im sorry but bringing in two exes for one person is really REALLY weird. i thought people were doing too much hating on the new pd but she really is ruining the show. wdym we're gonna watch hyunji go on two ex dates, juggle her emotions between two exes and a new guy, watch the exes be weird around each other like........ thats not even the point of the show man. its extremely weird. i sure hope baekhyun and the new ex were already informed about it bc if they weren't it means this isnt even something they signed up for and its nasty to force them into being in this situation. imagine a man bringing two of his female exes into the show, imagine him lowkey pining after his first ex while knowing he has another ex coming in later. weird af im ngl. anyway baekhyun im sorry for going too hard on u my guy

i feel like the rumors about yoosik and hyunji being endgame are probably true bc the pd is pushing for them wayyyy too much. i was wondering why baekhyun and yoonnyeong dont get more screentime even though more people are interested in them than they are in yoosik x hyunji and somebody mentioned its bc if they show us their moments, the pd wont be able to construct this whole narrative of hyunji pining after baekhyun initially and then finally moving on to yoosik. bc people alr like yn bh a lot so they arent gonna root for hyunji as much, and will find her annoying instead. which is a lil stupid honestly bc barely anyone is tuning in for yoosik and hyunji (no offence to them). ANYWAY its getting a lil draggy now ngl, i dont care for anyyyyyyyyyyyy of the men honestly except for jaehyung. and woojin too maybe. the women are perfect though <3

im glad if the season was enjoyable to other people, but i genuinely found it so so so bad so lemme just take it out here for a sec. first, the characters. i genuinely did not gaf about ANYYYYYY of them except for the brother and sister duo. the games were not enjoyable at all for me. that one wheelchair guy PMOOOOOOOOOOO SO BAD i did not care about him or his backstory or him and usagi together like it was lowk weird af im ngl. yeah usagi was lowk annoying af in this season but i didnt rly hate her a lot either. i wish we got more of usagi and arisu tg instead of like. 1000 extra characters i did not care about. the last game was genuinely so boring. actually, the whole season was SO SO SO SO SO boring for me i was yawning throughout. i rly liked the first two seasons so this one was a genuine let down. absolutely unnecessary, im just gonna pretend the whole thing never happened.

take this w a grain of salt, but apparently yoosik & hyunji are going to be endgame. this is the reason why minkyung's getting the villain edit (u can choose to not believe this but imo its pretty apparent, esp in ep 9 where they were trying to focus on minkyung's expressions and putting knife slashing sounds every time she spoke even though yoosik was the one behaving weirdly). ANYWAY, according to the rumors yoosik and hyunji are going to be the only "new" couple, and there'll be two ex couples reuniting. the producers are trying to push yoosik as the main character bc he's the only guy who's gonna successfully transfer, and they wanna avoid the backlash of s3 where basically everybody went back to their ex. like they wanna focus on his journey of moving on. unfortunately for the producers, the edits dont seem to be working (on the majority, at least) since people aren't rly happy w him rn. of the two ex couples, one is rumored to be jihyun and wonkyu. another rumor said yn & catfish 2 might end up tg which means her ex isnt here yet, but imo this doesnt make sense at all bc isnt it v v v obvious her ex is jaehyung?? idk but then again, these are just rumors and they could turn out to be rly far from the truth.

finished the ep. i dont get why yoosik got so worked up over minkyung calling him to the terrace to have a talk. he was berating her for making it obvious that they're exes, as if theyre in some sort of competition or they'll get penalised for talking to each other. i cant help but compare him to the other men: woojin who told jaehyung he needs a moment to talk to jiyeon on the terrace, baekhyun locking the door to talk to hyunji, staying up till 6 am to clear out their misunderstandings, wonkyu walking into jihyuns room to talk to her. and when these men's exes do the same, they dont tell them not to talk to them. u could say, well, yoosik wants to move on. well so does baekhyun (i dont believe him but thats what he says). so does jiyeon, from woojin. and yet i've never seen them get so worked up. the thing is, yoosik and minkyung dated for 8 years. they entered this show together. the literal concept of this show is to figure out whether u wanna move on to someone new or get back w ur ex. the only way u can figure this out is by talking w ur ex. if yoosik's sure about moving on, maybe minkyungs not. he should have the basic decency to talk to her properly when she wants to. if he just wants to move on and doesnt ever wanna talk to her again, he shouldnt have joined this show. he shouldve joined a normal dating show. saying "oh he's scared of her" "oh she's always scolding him" guys be fr. the way HE talked to her in today's ep was way way worse than the one sentence she said to him a few eps back. he was pretty PRETTY disrespectful. hes a grown ass man, lets stop babying him. again, the fact that k-netz, who're known for always bashing women instead of men, are for once sympathising w the woman and calling the guy out for his antics, says a lot. i hope yoosik learns something from watching his behavior.

i dont hate hyunji and baekhyun but icl i cant bring myself to care about them either,,,, i still dont think theyre being genuine (i could be wrong, but thats the impression i constantly get). i just wish baekhyun wouldnt string yoonnyeong on sm if he plans on getting back w hyunji. its sad bc yoonnyeong seems genuinely interested in him, and i dont get the same feeling for him. but we'll see.

+ i rly dont care about yoosik rn but the ai videos of minkyung pushing him down the stairs / pouring water all over him are lowk disgusting. if the same thing was done to a female contestant nobody would be laughing. again, i personally am not a big fan of his current actions but theres a difference between voicing ur opinion and going to such lengths to make fun of a person like this.

GODDDDD do i feel bad for minkyung. shes not even my fav in the house,,,,, mostly im rooting for jihyun and yoonnyeong but the way yoosik doesnt gaf about her???? & LIKE. its his right to move on and all thats fine !!!!! but why the fuck is he weeping in the interview room and saying he wants to get back w her, saying hes the one who got dumped, moving his clock to show he wants to get back, making sure we ALL know he wants to get back w her, but then not doing a single thing to actually win her back ?? even in ep 8 when mk called him to talk a little, he literally didnt even look back ?? he could've said i'll talk to u later or smth but he just doesnt care? the reason why so so so many people dislike him rn is bc he's trying to create this narrative on tv that he's the pitiful one, that poor old him wants to get back but his ex doesnt give him the time of the day so he cant and has no choice but to try out other options. when this isnt true, minkyung is making efforts to talk to him, yet he constantly avoids any confrontation. he has never sought her out in the house. the only 'effort' he made was texting her on night 1, and thats it. again, ITS HIS RIGHT TO MOVE ON, but dont pretend u still wanna get back w her. u dont want to. just man up and clear things out.
u could say well minkyung is also hypocritical bc she says she wants to move on but then she's still stuck on him. thats true, but the thing is, minkyung going back on her word is understandable. whenever anybody in the house says they dont have feelings for their ex, we all know theyre just saying it to fool themselves. lying about it doesnt benefit anybody. but when somebody lies about not being over their ex, constantly tries to be pitiful in front of the camera, we all know why theyre doing it. im glad *most* people arent being fooled by yoosik though, i've only seen a handful of people saying he hasnt done anything wrong, and well all i can say is i pray to god they dont ever encounter an avoidant man like him bc god is it frustrating.

imma say it: while i respect everyone's opinions i personally do not get the hate or dislike for minkyung. i feel like a lot of people aren't considering the context. mk and ys were together for 7 years, and have broken up for what? 4 months? the reason being yoosik couldnt give minkyung enough time, bc he was too busy for her. yoosik is the one who said he wants to get back tg w minkyung. HE'S the one who should be making effort. to the camera he says im not over her, he cries, he says he wants her back, but actually in the show he has made zero effort to do that. literally the only thing he did was text her on night 1. he stayed up late talking to others, when minkyung was frustrated w him for sleeping on their own dates. he never stayed up for her. he has never sought her out in the house so far. let me be clear, he doesnt HAVE to do that, but considering how he acts during the interview and then in the house it doesnt come off as genuine. minkyung seems genuine to me. she says she wants someone new bc SHE isnt the one who messed up. she can still be frustrated bc her ex of 7 years told her he wants her back but isnt actually making any effort.
