i missed it, what part?! I don't see any duet on the OST list though
lol I’ve been seeing so many people on rednotes remixing the Not Suffering OSTs wishing for an actual duet that I was actually intentionally listening to the bgm and then, it was there at 47:08. perhaps they may do one 🙏🏻
The plot is ok, it’s not really that romancy, it focuses on the fl finding out who the ml and shadow double are, which one she likes, alchemy ‘refining’ and the mastermind. The chemistry is ok, editing is a bit choppy and yes, it really does have a BE.
It is an adaptation of a book, so I did sneak at the last chapter (529) and found out, it’s a HE. Basically, this short drama butchered the book even when they have good castings with somewhat of a unique alchemy setting in the plot.
It would’ve been better if they did a full length drama instead.
Some1 come ping me after ep 5 if it’s really the sequel, I tried reading the book after PA cliffhanger long ago but couldn’t get into it bc it was just disorienting lol. I feel like this one might be the same.
I manage to finish this after my last comment somewhere lol, and overall, compared to the book, everything is…
My issue with the drama is DC and WL deaths. I took it as like the OG first life in the book, being rewritten here where DC really did marry WS and died and BZ took revenge by killing WS thus, WL didn’t exist either. They didn’t even show XC mourning for her or anything, just like giving WL importance then rushing towards the HE.
XC dreams instead of being reborn, the political issues were condensed, the entire essence of the plot is there but different. WS ends up traveling with his wife and daughter instead of uniting the states and becoming the emperor like in the book.
I manage to finish this after my last comment somewhere lol, and overall, compared to the book, everything is toned down and it wasn’t just WS like many suspected in the comment section when this drama hadn’t aired yet. WY wasn’t as ‘lost’ as he was in the book finale, SEH involvement in his family was changed, and even 2 people died unnecessarily. I remember saying plots were combined and scenes being placed earlier than they should be which was fine bc no one can fit every single detail in an adaptation of a book. This is unfortunately bias from reading the book first but honestly the drama itself is fine.
Edit: It’s at ep 19, (around) 47:08. TJR and JJY sang their respective OSTs but it seems they edited this scene to make it look like a duet.
He finally confessed everything.

Bone coroner ml x Ex lover seeking truth fl. New cast in a somewhat unique plot with one actual nice kiss scene. The chemistry isn’t bad, I like it.
Him helping her eat, giving motivation so that they could make it out of that place being stuck there for so long.
It will truly be an *experience*. 😂😂
