i am leaning towards.. the murderer did the murder - but what happened was that our girl walked on it...

she then tampered with the scene because she knows her dad won't believe her... and because she is that intelligent, her tampering has made the murder more complicated than it really was .. :D

So, i am thinking following -

What we know for sure -

Killer had planned the murder meticulously and was surprised by some unexpected event.

Two possible scenarios -
1. If girl was faking her death then it could be a setup that "killer got surprised" and hence never put the body into the dug pit and had to do thinks hastily

2. Our FL could be that surprise and walked in on the murder

From FL's perspective, she knows her dad has always suspected her of killing the brother.... now if we assume she never killed anyone, this "doubt" is detrimental to her psyche... so if she does find herself in a murder situation then her default action will be to eliminate all evidence of her ever being there because her dad will never believe her that she is not the killer....


hence burning the red thing... and maybe she really does want to run away from her dad like those girls.. and that's why on purpose stole the phone

she was on top fo the cliff, body was at the bottom of the cliff... so there is more to the story than just.. there was a pool of blood there

initially, if you assume that she took that suitcase so that she could fit the body in that and easily move the body but then we know there are no traces of anything suspicious in that trolley bag of hers..

if dead body is not found then maybe the person is not dead

but they have a dead body, no? otherwise yes.. interesting and more sensible in current set of characters that we have seen

she can't be psychopathic killer.. because if that were the case then she should have killed more people over the years.. in school over the years... but at best we know is she killed brother, mother, and this new girl...

Motives or psychological angle doesn't fit

She is definitely cooking something....i think a mix of looking for thrills because she hates her life and silent cry for help/attention of her father


Also, he is a dad.. why would he offer his daughter on a plate??? i think given he suspected her all through the life, this time he should prove her innocence when odds are stacked against her... and get back to healing father-daughter relationship

then we will be left wondering at the end if dad actually bought her story or just pretended to save the daughter

we need an insider to "leak" the ending :P

just think that it is a red herring... she might not be a murderer...

because this is not a case of serial killer instead of motive driven murder. Let' s say she killed brother because of jealousy... but why kill mom or why kill this new girl...

I did not read beyond your 1st statement because that tells me you are not watching the drama and not listening to the characters... literally that's what both kids said...

and what drama has shown us...

i tried to skim over your essay - and you have no real gist of doing a character analysis - why is the burden on only those two "kids" to grow up watching their mother struggle...
