I haven’t been able to figure out how to watch Shadow’s Edge in my country (US) unfortunately

I had never heard of any of these actors before this drama and while the actor that plays ye xian is pretty, the ML role is 🔥🔥

After ep 13, I’m ready for the dad and the half sister to meet bad ends. Especially the dad.

It is subscription based also unfortunately. I have found Viki has the most shows across platforms but lags behind. For Chinese dramas there are too many different platforms - you can actually see the most episodes of this show in Mango TV app but the subs aren’t as good. You can also watch for free with ads on sites like Daily Motion (for me) but might be considered pirated

I tried watching it while watching this but it was too jarring to have two different dramas at the same time where two of the main characters are the same. Will revisit after this one is over!

Every time she randomly wanders off by herself and there’s a convenient scene where she is in danger and needs to be rescued I roll my eyes a little at the Cdrama logic. But I’m still watching and enjoying! I hadn’t seen the ML before and I’m a fan

Both of those scenes were too cliched 😭 Jarring given there are other parts that are so good

Ep 8 ruined one of the love interests for me 😅

I wasn’t sure the first couple episodes but now at ep 8 I quite like it! We will see if the show can keep it up the remaining episodes!

I didn’t know anything about this drama going in and don’t recognize any of the actors but liking it way more than I thought and glad I gave it a try. I wasn’t sure about FL after ep 1 (too spoiled? Drinking and falling in the water cliche?) but by ep 3 I’m liking her more. Will try a few more ep for sure!

The ML is overall rewritten in a better way in the drama, I think, but his actions at the end of ep 25 feel really 🤦‍♀️
