Oh no. I’m starting to wonder if this series is going to be HE or tragic ending with a message 😭

I’m sad the ratings aren’t higher for this one. I’m entertained and I appreciate that I can’t tell what’s going to happen next, plot wise.

I’m sort of mad that I paid for iqyi subscription and the remaining episodes stay behind a paywall instead of continuing to unlock one per day. 😅

Ze Qiu (the brother) is a fabulous character. This is a rare drama where I like all the secondary cast (2nd and 3rd possible couples) and find them as compelling or maybe more compelling than the main couple. Enjoying this a lot

I just watched the available episodes and think it is shaping up to be an enjoyable if typical school drama. Not sure why the rating is so low either

Quite enjoying this, in large part because of the ML and FL actors. The drama has some weird transitions and the MDL synopsis is terrible but so far it feels like it will be a FL centric drama, with romance taking a backseat to court politics. I specifically love how they make the FL smart, scrappy, and unafraid to tackle corruption even though she’s not in a position of power herself. Hope the momentum continues.

Wow first two episodes were tight and I see this is only 24 episodes so hopefully not much filler and will be well paced throughout. Excited!

In the recent episodes I really wanted less relationship melodrama and more palace drama or business intrigue 😅 Fewer misunderstandings between the main couple and more kicking ass together 😭

Yes I could have done without this new story arc and they could have sunset him after he agreed to marry someone else and she threw the kite

You are missing the payoff episodes for minglan!

The payoff on the household politics also takes a long time and are what make the drama so good!

When I rewatch Ming lan I often skip until ep 35 or so it takes that long for some of the payoff!
