I feel like iQYi must use an automatic translator because a lot of the translations aren’t very good /are off. But something still better than nothing!

I felt like he admired her bravery as a man but fell for her after he found out she was a woman. I also like that he was open to changing his ideas - like after meeting Chang ge he changed his mind about letting women learn how to ride horses and fight

I feel like part of her character’s development is learning to see beyond her desire for revenge and sacrificing for her country, at least during the shuozhuo story arc. No idea what comes later

I didn’t know about the Manhua before starting the drama and I am enjoying reading it now to see what is different

I’ve tried other shows with Dilraba and this is my favorite character of hers by a lot

And I’m curious what life in the grasslands will be like and when FL may start to like the Ml ... feels like it will be a while :(

Just finished ep 16 and can’t wait to see more. Is it awful that I want more of the main couple and wish there was less of the other Princess (rosy)? Maybe there will be more character development later but right now the helpless sniffling is a really unflattering contrast to chang ge’s bravery

Just wanted to add that I do like the FL’s brother and the ML’s mom

I’m about 9 episodes in and there are a lot of tropes yes. You will feel like you’ve seen the drama before

The speed of subtitles has been really impressive this time.

I wasn't sure what to expect but am completely hooked. I tried one episode and then ended up binging and getting caught up. :X

I feel like the story is set up from the beginning to expect a tragic ending. I hope I’m wrong but bracing for it

Oh man have to wait four days for the last two episodes... this show has been so fun

I also wondered if I’d be into it the ML as a SWAT officer after ep 1 but he sold me after another couple episodes

I love this show. Main leads have such a healthy relationship it’s so refreshing

Oh man on 35-36... Realistic about job demands being rough on a relationship sometimes (and imagine if they had kids!) but still bittersweet to watch. Curious what MIka will decide.

Si Heng is so supportive of him it’s really sweet
