i’m so glad everyone seems to be in agreement that su muyang is terrible. i’ve seen so many shows where viewers rush to defend second ml’s no matter how evil they are. glad it doesn’t seem to be the case here. then again, i may be a bit biased. i can’t stand the trope of obsessed second lead’s who will do anything to get the person they’re obsessed with, even if the person doesn’t love them/loves someone else.
watching shadow love and now i’m wondering if bi wen jun would be a good choice to play fu xiu yi? he looks the closest to fxy that i’ve pictured in my head and he’s doing a decent job in shadow love. fxy is one of the characters i’ve had a bit of a hard time thinking up who id like to see in the role. i just like thinking up different actors/actresses id love to see in this haha.

based off the calendar, i’m guessing eps 29 or 30 but not 100% sure. in the novel he wasn’t a super prominent character and didn’t show up until near the end, so most likely same here.

oh man i’m probably waaaaay off but these are my guesses based off the calendars and tomorrow’s episode trailers alone. it’s been way too long since i read the book so i can’t really remember too much and im not sure how close the screenwriters kept it to the book.
23-24: by the trailer, it looks like they see a play with puppets. the military man on the horse is the puppet from the play.
25-26: ????? can’t tell if it’s a heart or a broken heart. so i’m guessing either a romantic scene or a heartbreaking one?? or it’s the sacrifice day? or it’s the water that counteracts jade linglong?
27-28: a lantern and double happiness. a wedding?
29-30: jin’an gets his memory back of being the prince??
31-32: what looks like a prison and a drop of water or a tear? maybe either of the prison torture scenes?
33-34:??? or maybe this is one of them?? or the sacrifice ??? i can’t tell what the emojis are. is it a staff maybe and is that a heart or something else??
35: is an arrow and a building (can’t think of what it’s called) so maybe war? maybe between the kingdoms?
36: li shuang and what looks like a piece of bamboo or flute maybe??
37: has wine jar and cups and what looks sort of like a whirlpool? is it the blood pool again maybe?? not sure about the wine.

3. li shuang would be miserable marrying into the royal family. she’d have a lot less freedom than she does now. she’d be a caged bird.
4. her family has already gotten into hot water before, marrying him would make her and her family even more of a target.
dude is so insanely selfish. he thinks if he does nothing that will save him and he can live a life doing whatever? lol, no. no matter how much he likes her, he needs to let her go.
