Really worth It if you care for something deep and meaningfull. I love the evolution of the FL. Instead of being the wiser one and having a sense of superiority due to her seniority, she follows the young ML out of her comfort zone. Brave and inspiring!

I love One Spring Night. As for Midnight, episodes 11 and 12 have completely won me over, but for very different reasons, not for the romance.
So, I'm not sure you can really compare.

This show is a masterpiece! It takes a different path and has a purpose and essence. The writers have done a great job! It avoids the typical formula of kdramas and focuses on personal relationships and values. For kdrama fans who also love literature, it's a real treat. I see it as a special gift to all the curious minds out there. I just realized I've never read a book by a Korean writer, so that's the first thing I'm going to do! Thank you so much for the enlightenment of episodes 11 and 12!

You are right to point out the show might not be for everyone for its specific topic.
Yet, for me, this Korean "uniqueness" is definitately part of the appeal. I guess a lot of us, international audience, appreciate this cultural "journey" in a kdrama.
Besides, the topic is probably more relatable than vou think for most countries., even if the education issues in SK really seem to be at another level!
All in all, the series is very engaging I think!

I don't think they have any connection in "real life". From what I understood, she fantasizes about his name (for whatever reason??) and he knows her because of her videos...

Some awkward moments (the seer mother is making no sense to me), but surprisingly good.
The drama pulls off quite a realistic portrayal of a depressive person I think. And even the goofy character of the sister turns out to be quite engaging.

Same here. I'm a big fan of this director's cinematography. For example, the work on light and colours as the two leads were getting out of the cafe under the red umbrella. A recurrent feature in its dramas!

The way the drama tackles serious issues is certainly a great part of its charm and must have contributed to raising the dialogues quality. But episode 18 (and 19 a bit) was kind of... hard to swallow. Too much lingering...
It gets better again in episode 20 and I hope the 21st episode brings something new. I feel that the story is a bit worn out at this point...
