His not-idol pretty-boy looks make the story all the more intense because it's clear that the attraction is primarily a soulful/creative passion, and not merely physical. The FL is his equal, though.

Episode 1: Wow, this show is surprisingly good! I say "suprisingly," because I'm not a big fan of most Kdramas; too much schmaltz, overacting, bad writing, bad acting, low budgets, etc. Color me wrong about this one. Just one episode in and I'm hooked. Looking forward to taking time tomorrow to watch ep 2.
Someone on another thread mentioned this show, and on their recommendation, I gave it a shot. Glad I did. Yoo is sensational, as always. It was on account of my Yoo Ah In withdrawal symptoms that I overcame my biases against Kdramas to give this a look; happy that I did.
The FIRST thing that hit me, though, was the quality of the cinematography. I can't bear that cheap, straight-to-video, daytime TV soap opera look. This show's look is the opposite of that.
