Seeing this in the wide format is seeing it for the first time.

Watching in the vertical, I felt I was viewing it through a crack in the wall.
Now, the story takes place in the real, whole-wide world and it is 100 times more enjoyable than before. Never again will I put myself through that vertical hell again.
Wouldn't the ability to "re-edit" it to the wide format mean it was shot that way to begin with? Otherwise, nothing beyond that vertical sliver of space would have been recorded...yes? No?

Regardless, this little BL is now fully worthy of a full reaction, and mine is...YES!
Charming, handsome leads, especially Lee Tae Hyung, who is entirely the character he plays, and 100% natural in his acting. He has an effortless, nonchalant, primal sexuality about him that serves the character well. His screen presence and charisma ooze from the screen.

This series' low budget kept the story tightly focused, with no frills, and that was to its advantage. While watching, I was reminded of how much peripheral BS gets included in lots of BLs, simply because there's money for extras, locations, etc. and a multiple-episode requirement to fill. That not being the case here freed everyone involved to put the effort/time/$$$ available where it mattered the most...the story. Nonetheless, the scenes not 100% focused on the MC, such as location shots for the film-within-a-film, were more than convincing.

Being available in wide-screen makes this eligible for my 30 Fave BLs list, and that's where it's going.
I'm keeping my eye on Lee Tae Hyung. He could be a star.
