My appreciation for/understanding of the Japanese style of BL continues to deepen. Not that they're all identical by any means. In general, I click hard with the darkness that so often undergirds the stories. The theme of living in denial of what one is called to do and who one is meant to be, and the sadness/depression that results, profoundly resonates with me, and many others here, I suspect.
Even the mannequin kisses are ultimately tolerable because, judged by JBL standards, the last one is so delicious. :)
I gave this an 8.5/10 the first time. I think that's a fair rating. Recommended.
