Hallo, guten Tag! Es tut mir nicht leid. :) I'm American, but German from both sides of my family. 100% pure Kraut. :D
The main and most glaring aspect of this show I find "absurd" is the casting of that tiny, little, wispy, un-muscled, wimpy dude as the "former Olympic medalist gymnast." lol Girl, please, as the kids say. :) Gymnasts are often smaller than average, but they have amazingly strong and athletic bodies. Even if the character hadn't seen the inside of a gym in years, he wouldn't look like the tiny, noodle-armed guy playing the part.
Then, there is his personality: Weak, submissive, even fearful. There is nothing about him indicating the sort of internal strength and fortitude it takes to succeed at gymnastics, let alone at the Olympic level.
Worst of all, he is a terrible actor and apparently, receiving terrible direction. Either way, he is an unconvincing and amateurish thespian.
This show has multiple other absurd qualities, but the ones described above are the most glaring. The miscasting and misdirection of this actor knock the rest of the show off-kilter. With every scene he's in, and there are dozens of course, I am pulled out of the plot to roll my eyes at the silliness before me.
probs not gonna go thru many comments (i fully acknowledge that an 8.3 is great and i'm assuming most ppl are…
I dropped it about halfway through episode three. I consider 90 minutes out of a 240-minute show enough to be considered "giving it a chance," but you may disagree.
The biggest "absurdity" in this show is that this little dude, with his tiny frame, delicate demeanor, and lack of discernible muscle mass, is somehow an Olympic gymnastics medalist. Seriously? lol It IS true that gymnasts tend to be smaller than average, but this guy could have at least hit the gym to prepare for this role. Clearly, he did not.

But see, I am of the opinion that directors should be casting actors who can actually "act," not actors who cannot do so. And there are plenty of talented, young actors around who could have filled this role and made it believable and the character sympathetic. This guy's bad acting pulls me out of the show with every line he delivers.
Now, if he's some kpop idol, and I'm not going to bother checking, and the whole idea was to cast him in a show, well then, what you get with an arrangement like that is a lousy show. It has happened many times with idols in BL. One notable exception is Jae Chan of DONGKIZ in "Semantic Error." He is a fine actor. I wish he'd drop the K-pop gig and go full-time acting. They're trying to make him a solo act, and he's fine but not extraordinary on stage alone as an idol. I like to call him "Pillow Lips," cause, you know, his lips are like two pillows. :D
Hey brainiac, take a look at my custom lists, which include lot of films as well as BLs. If you did so, which I'm sure you won't, you'd see that I don't "hate" lots of shows. Quite the contrary, I love lots of shows. It's just that none of them are silly messes like Boys' Balls Tactics. Perhaps get some standards?
Hey Liv, if you can't grasp what's "absurd," how about considering mine an opinion you disagree with and moving on? I'm honestly curious: On what basis have you made the odd assumption that I am "miserable?" Because I disagree with you? Because I left a brief comment expressing my negative opinion and now you're here obsessing over it? Do you presume everyone who disagrees with you, and I'm sure there are a lot of such people, to be "miserable?"
Ok, so I don’t know if I should be writing this in the comments or the discussion section but I figured I would…
Not snark: Consider breaking up long comments like this into paragraphs, moving from one general thought to the next. Those breaks would make your walls of text look much less intimidating. MDLers HATE anything longer than three sentences for starters, and huge text blocks are causing seizures here, I'm sure. :)

Did you know using "fucking" repetitively does not make you seem more intelligent or the statements you make sound more convincing? Really, it's true! You're in your fucking 30s? You sound like you're in your fucking teens.
I don't have the time or desire to list all the things about your comment and attitude toward sexual content that are "funny." I'll allow my "lol" to speak for itself.
This is quite good, despite its restricted budget. Wish I could find it with English subs; the machine-generated ones on YT were unintentionally hilarious and probably got about 1 out of 20 words right. :)
"...how it is so wrong for such story to be done..." "... but because the source material is just too bad if not…
lol

That's what is absurd to me.

P.S. I'm not your friend.
I guess you love the attention you receive by loving on crap shows with your other Little Girl friends. Imagine being so miserable.
I feel the same about you.
I like that I'm living rent-free in your mind. It's awfully cramped in such a tiny space, though.
I'm honestly curious: On what basis have you made the odd assumption that I am "miserable?"

I used to have high hopes for Kbl's evolution...now, not so much.

South Korea misses again. More and more, SKBL = ThaiBL in awfulness.
Dropped after two and a half eps.

Or not. Just a suggestion.
