YES! I loved "Our Youth" and "See Your Love," the latter of which I almost dropped at the end of two episodes because it felt like a dorky Thai BL. Very glad I hung in there. I have to recommend a BL featuring slightly older characters called "Love Is Poison" on Netflix of all places. I discovered it by accident. If you don't have NF, it's also on kisskh. HIGHLY recommended.
There is a hysterically funny and well-done mini-BL being released tortuously in drips of 3.5-minute episodes more than a week apart for some ungodly reason. It is so well-produced, acted, and written that I gobble up those 3 minute eps as soon as I can get them. There will be just 10 eps for a total of 30 minutes altogether; I'm praying it's a fund-raising tease to put a full series together later.
The title says it all: "Dominant Yakuza and Wimpy Corporate Slave." lol It is a riotous parody played straight, but the leads are talented and have such charisma that it also has a hot heart at its center. I loved it from the first frame. Try it out on YT and you'll see why.
LOVED "See Your Love." Great how it evolved from a light fluffy thing to a fairly steamy thing with incredible connection between leads. I went through rolls of paper towels in my blubbering, often just at beholding the warmth and emotion between the MC. Oh, and the shower scene! wtf! :P I am in love with both lead characters, with Sean having the slight edge due to his beauty, combo of sass/sweetness, and vulnerability beneath it all. That sleeping in the closet scene in the final ep had me openly weeping, mainly at SP's complete acceptance in assuring Sean that however long it took him to stop sleeping in the closet, if in fact he ever did, was fine and dandy because they have all the time in the universe ahead of them...BLUBBER......
On edit: Also recommending "My Damn Business," a short BL only on Youtube. Damn, there's another one I recently wrapped up that's worth recommending but I can't recall the title just now. I'll get back to you. The last two months have spoiled me with great Jap, Korean, and Taiwanese BLs.

My longest relationship, which lasted seven years, was with a wonderful, sexy guy I loved dearly. But he is the type who, even though he is gay obviously, and even though he loved me dearly at the time, would have found my love of BL to be "weird," and would have let me know that. He is extremely uptight in a lot of ways and for that reason along with many others we parted ways eventually. Sadly, he was incredibly hot in bed, which is the thing I miss most about him. :)

Yes, totally agree: The bit with staying with someone and pretending you still have a "relationship" after they have moved the beds apart and put a night stand between them, is too much to take seriously. That both guys have stuck around in such situations makes them pathetic and desperate in a way that neither character seems the type to be.
In the case of the female partner, I think she's sleeping around on the side. In the case of the male partner, it almost seems he's simply had his sex drive removed. It is downright bizarre that he has moved to separate beds, rejects his partner's advances, and yet dares to act offended/jealous that the man he treats so badly is openly engaging in a non-sexual, non-romantic text conversation with someone he doesn't know. It's either a really interesting dynamic yet to be revealed, or it's just bad writing.
The sexual element that moved me is that in their romantic AND physical loneliness, both young men resorted to masturbation as a necessary release. This is how young men ARE, we need frequent release, especially if release has been denied after a long period of regular sex. This element makes the story incredibly real, and I'm encouraged that we got there in the first episode rather than the next-to-last.

I never watch Thai BLs; haven't done so since "Moonlight Chicken" two years ago; ergo my OP. I have DROPPED a lot of them though. Awkward "sex" scenes between terrible actors does not turn me on.
I watched this a couple of years ago and wasn't particularly moved. I watched again just now and was riveted; in tears several times in the latter third. A great reminder that sometimes we're just not in the right frame of mind/heart to receive what a movie has to offer.
The saddest thing is that the solution, and there are several possibilities, does NOT have to be black/white, either/or. And yet society forces us to think it's so.

lol Exactly. The plants thing is precisely the sort of cutesy thing I normally find annoying. The key is likely that it is played off AS cutesy/dorky/silly. Self-awareness goes a long way in making something like that work. :)

It's nice to see another BL moving away from the prudishness inherent to so many shows that cater to a gay sex-phobic, Puritanical, largely female BL-watching mindset that sees physical intimacy as somehow the opposite of romance. Newsflash: They can, do, and should exist together. That they don't do so in the two ongoing relationships we've been shown here, is a HUGE red flag and logically, is why both leads are vulnerable. Leads are well-cast. Looking forward to more.
WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY is this thing torturing me with these little 3-minute episodes released every six months, or so it seems?!! Interviews with the actors on YT are TEN times longer than the episodes, and the show's total length will be barely a half-hour. Is this all marketing to raise funds for a full-on production? Anyone out there know?
The show is a hundred times better than 99% of BLs.
Love it. I'm a sucker for this type of thing when done well, which I found this to mostly have been. It was way too heavy-handed with the schmaltz a few times, but whatever. Made some nice points about life, love, and regret, yet didn't pretend to be anything it's not.
Park Jeong Min should be a much bigger star than he is. I have loved him in everything I've seen him in. He is always all-in. He flips my switches too. :P Those lips.
