USA - The half of it that hates Donald Trump as much as you do.

I am soo happy that he is being punished I am soo glad disney is gonna be paid over 100M dollars by K Diddyand…
Hey Dickhead, you have no idea what this fine young actor "has done" or not done. All there are are accusations, nothing more, nothing has been proved; that's the way it always is in Korean celebrity "controverseys." Facts don't apply; you're interested in the spectacle of it all. But vile people like you don't care about such niceties. You're far too eager to get on to the next Korean celebrity suicide and notch another score on your bloody bed post.

I don't expect you to recognize or admit it's all simply a psycho need to make yourself feel better about YOU by going through this tired old Korean routine yet again...and again...and again.

Perhaps it you got a life of your own on which to focus your judgments you wouldn't need to crucify celebrities you know zero facts about.

I hope this guy survives, thrives, and makes it his business to sue this young woman's disgusting, lying, opportunistic family into oblivion. And then come after dickheads like you.

Oh, and f**k you again.

I hope South Korean society grows up one day.
Meanwhile, I hope Kim Soo Hyun does not off himself and sticks around to sue the shit out of this unfortunate young woman's money-grubbing family.

To all the self-righteous, know-nothing Knetz losers and proud cogs in the Korean Celebrity Suicide Machine in this thread: F**k yourselves.

Oh, and Disney+ can go f**ck itself as well.
I do not understand why these multinational, American-based companies bow to the tiny number of Knetz freaks and losers in Korea. It makes no sense.

I have come to love this movie.

I just finished my third watch.
The first time, I was like, "what?"
The second time I was like, "oh, I'm sort of beginning to get this..."
This third time I laughed my freaking butt off.
This movie will offend and bore the easily-offended and the boring, which makes me like it more.
This film is not for them.

Kim Yeong Taek, the ML gives a performance that is remarkable in every way. Funny, soulful, tender, sensitive, jerk-ish, conflicted, sad, happy, hopeful, angry, crazy, you name it, this guy plays it and well.
All four supporting male actors are excellent too. The college guy and the sergeant nearly steal the show. And then there is the sergeant's girlfriend who shows up in the latter half and also almost walks away with the film. However, KYT's characterization and acting are more than strong enough to withstand the competition

If you have a sense of humor, don't mind being challenged, enjoy good acting, and are open to quirky flicks that sometimes take a second or third viewing to appreciate; and can relax and let something you didn't get or like at first grow on you, then this is for YOU.

Highly recommended.

I hated absolutely everything about this. How did the director come up with a story like this after taking part…
Wow. You are WAY too uptight and fake-moralistic to appreciate this hysterically funny film. I bet you are fun at parties. hahaha

Just to be certain I understand: You were outraged and offended by everything you saw here but you watched to the bitter end because...? Because you liked something about it and found it worth sticking with, even if only to fuel your faux-righteous outrage, which you so gleefully shared above, that's why.

I would say I am glad you were offended because people like you need offending, except that I don't buy you were offended in the least. Get some self-awareness.

Yes, yes, yes...I know, I know...how DARE I reply to a four-year-old comment, blah blah blah. The only thing dumber than replying to a comment one left four years ago would be REPLYING to the reply to the four-year-old comment one left after one came back and read it.

MDL is infested with your type, which I call Shock-roaches. You adore that rush you get when being "shocked" and outraged that a film so offensive exists. This infestation explains the low rating above. Most good films are rated poorly on MDL for this reason.

I used to long for some kind of insecticide I could spray through my computer to rid this place of you and yours, but I've come to cherish your presence as a source of humor. Thanks for that.

Why are you aware of the genre but resent it irrespective to how other people feel or view a show/characters
Forgiveness bestowed, dear.
That taken care of, what was it you meant to get at with your question? I love questions. :)

hmmm...What? Why do I "resent" the BL genre? I don't know what this question means. I do know that I don't "resent" BLs.

Thanks for this comment. I'm going to skip this movie. It seems to contain content that could be considered child…
You seem inordinately fixated on this subject.
How many times did you end up watching this film? :D

"masterpiece" Most abused word on MDL.
A significant portion of my comments are extended ones noting what I did and did not like about this or that show, usually with plenty of snark and intended hilarity. Not all of it lands. The assertion that "all" my comments are "incredibly and incessantly negative" is BS.

After leaving my own comments, I often read and respond to the comments of others. If my frequently acerbic and smartass replies upset you, again with that "block" button.

Strange that you don't recall friend-requesting me. hmmm...

How odd that you wrote this and then friend-requested me. lol

It's amusing to receive your comment at this point. You should have read me a couple of years back...I was far "nastier" than I am now. I've worked with the local MDL therapist and cleaned up my act considerably. :D

People can enjoy whatever they want and comment however they choose. And viciously cruel and nasty people like me can reply in a like manner. That is how comments work.

The obvious solution for you is to block me. Have you considered that option? It's right there at the top of my profile page. Perhaps your friend request was meant to be a block and you hit the wrong button. :) If so, it's never too late...

Finally, the word "masterpiece" IS the most abused and overused word on MDL. :) Toodles!

What is a "critique of a negative review?" What does that mean?

Oh B, you poor, abused victim.
You put up a review, people get to read and react and comment about it.
If you can't handle that, stop putting yourself out there.
Have you considered simply ignoring comments you don't like? It's an option, really it is!

This certainly sounds more likely to be the case than the BS reply I received. :)

Even though the plot is mediocre, the production value is great and that rating is to mainly differentiate itself…
You didn't get my question. Or I didn't ask it very well...oh well, whatever. Thanks.

I would MUCH rather watch a great plot with good acting and a low budget than vice versa. Who cares how good production values are if they are in service of a mediocre and in this case melodramatic, plot if it doesn't even fulfill its own promise? This makes no sense.

How does a rating here "differentiate itself?" Isn't it supposed to be an average of ratings given it by MDL commenters/viewers? Oh, I forgot about the leeway the system here gives MDL to manipulate the ratings as it sees fit as determined by vaguely worded fine print.

On Like a Marriage Mar 24, 2025
This is far better than most gay short films I've seen. I love discovering one that's new to me even if it is already four years old.

The acting, except for the stereotype mother, is quite natural and good.
My heart breaks for the partner who literally had to climb back into the closet to accommodate his selfish partner's sham marriage. I hope he maintains his self-respect and says this ends or I'm out.

Recommended. I saw it at the link below.

Good God. Why does shit like this exist?
