USA - The half of it that hates Donald Trump as much as you do.

She has done this for many, many years. It's nothing new.
Clearly, you lack reading comprehension:
"If she wouldn't do it, idiots like you would cry and say, "Why is she not donating when she's a millionaire?"

I did not criticize her donating, you fool, I criticized her publicizing it to polish her image and thus, her pocketbook. There are a thousand secure ways for famous people to make donations anonymously. I know this because two of my clients are non-profits that have received donations from well-known people. No one will ever know about those donations because they were done quietly, in such a way that keeps identifying information under wraps. This is the OPPOSITE of what your beloved IU did, because the donations are, for her, as much a PR opportunity as a tax write-off opportunity.

So, please, IU, give LOTS of money to charity! Just do it privately and anonymously if you don't want to be accused of doing it for publicity.

Why would I need IU to "know" me to criticize her for tacky PR stunts? Only sad and lonely people attack randos on the internet who have dared to slam the object of their parasocial relationship fantasies.
IU doesn't know or care about you. She will never know that you ranted at an internet rando who criticized her on MDL.

And, finally, we have the always lame fallback tactic of slamming someone as being an "American," because you don't live here and are bitter and jealous about it. How sad.

What was Henry's response to the color choice?
Didn't he produce it only in black? :D

On edit: I looked it up:
HF famously said that "...customers could have "any color... so long as it is black." :)
That was pretty much the case from 1914-1925, but after that Ford began offering color options. :)

Thanks for inspiring me to learn something new today.

Well, damn, now you went and made me feel like a douche bag. :P Apology not accepted, though, because you don't owe me one. :)

I live in the US, too. I work in PR/Mktg. Two of my clients are non-profits. I know all about charitable giving, which is how I know there are many ways for even very famous people to give, and give generously, without anyone ever knowing about it.

Have a good one!

Why do you care ?
Oh look, eldio, who "doesn't care what celebrities do," is back to cry about some rando crying about IU publicizing her charitable giving.

And look, eldio, who "doesn't care what celebrities do," knows all about Johnny Depp going to a children's hospital dressed as Jack Sparrow and Leo DiCaprio promoting nature conservation, and both being called out as doing it for publicity, even though eldio totally "doesn't care what celebrities do."

I know more than you've forgotten about social licensing, tax benefits of charitable giving, etc. I work in PR/Marketing. Two of my medium-sized clients are non-profits. That's how I know there are plenty of ways for famous people to give without anyone ever knowing about it. They do it all the time. Quietly. Privately. In a manner opposite to what IU did here.

Get a grip on your own out-of-control BS, eldio, who "doesn't care what celebrities do," but is back with a third comment crying at a rando who was crying about something a celebrity did.
You know, even though eldio "doesn't care what celebrities do."

You're a hoot.

I never said nor implied that her donations are made for "nefarious reasons," that's you making stuff up, but thanks.
It's the self-serving, publicity-seeking behavior that accompanies the donations that puts me off.

I have an idea!
IU could double her donations and tell her fans that she has donated in their place, and they should keep their money for their own living expenses!
Of course, some fans would donate anyway because they have parasocial relationships with IU, so it's a win-win for the charity AND IU!

What do you think?

Why do you care ?
Hmmm..."everyone" that's been questioning me..." amounts to two whole people, you and IU's other mom.

So, you seek out celeb-promoting articles, look for comments "crying" about them, and then "cry" back at the commenters because you "...don't really care what celebs do," is that right, eldio?

I wasn't aware that, for "tax reasons" and "financial transparency," celebrities are required to send out publicity materials about their charitable contributions.
Nor was I aware that "everyone" knows this. lol
Thanks for bringing me up to speed.

"Parasites"
Lame.

She has done this for many, many years. It's nothing new.
"She's been donating every year multiple times since 2011. "
You know this because she and her PR team make sure you know it.

"she donates money in the name of her fandom."
What a perfect cover/excuse to make sure we all know about her donations.

"Only people with sad and lonely lives think she's doing this for attention when she's already one of the biggest stars in Korea."

lol
I'll ignore your lame insult.
I didn't say she makes the donations for attention; I said she and her agency put out press releases about it for attention.
If you believe entertainers stop seeking attention once they're famous, you are naive, ignorant, or dim-witted.

Only people with "sad and lonely lives" dedicate themselves to defending famous, rich people who have no idea who they are and don't care.

That, or they work for IU's PR team or they're IU's mom.

Title Love Punch!
There are tons of JP dramas/films featuring your "Yanki."
Thanks for the effort, but I don't care enough about this topic to take the time.

Yankii can be prostitutes.
Prostitutes can be Yankii.
The labels aren't mutually exclusive.

As I said, I googled multiple sources.
They're not all wrong.
I'm beginning to think you are "wrong." lol

I'll regret asking, but why is forcing your vision of what makes a "Yanki," on others so important to you?

You saw the bulkier guy in season 1 as a "loser coward soft top?" What does that mean?
Good to see you around again! :)

Spoken like a true, sex-phobic MDL Church Girl, always afraid of dirty, dirty, really evil, Satan-spawned S-E-X.

Sex is a huge part of life for grownups, child.
Let us all know when you finally get laid.

These episodes are too short! I like how Sakutaro and Shizuka are so open and honest and gentle with each other. This…
"...and Shizuka's fine with it."

I don't think he's fine with it, but as with everything else, he reacts like a Sloth or not at all.
