honey lee would in my mind be the closest to the sassy daimon michiko as portrayed by ryoko yonekura in both character and stature ...but witht he latter embroiled in legal matter and controvesy though, perhaps a fresh take on dr x wont be so bad. we are probably not getting the humourous fast talking snack eating super long legged dr x from kjw, wonder what her characterdr x looks like.

no. it was a medical ship that goes to remote japanese islands. and the staff getting involved with local people. dont remember the name or year.

same old same old. there was a jdrama with similar setting...this feels like a rewrite with korean context.

when the inital comedy wears off , the show is pretty blah, at least this ep was.

the sister is the worst., in a way worst than the cops and her other half brother cha. not enough with the bad eyelid job, she betrays her brother's, the one she grew up with, goodwill and opted to live in luxury...she would argued because of the closeness between her son and cha. if that were the case she really ddint value gibeom much, siding with her lover's killer.

it kinda sad to be reminded with shows like this that we are so used to the norm of being vaguely entertained/distracted by mediocrity. imagine if every kdrama is this quality...

our one police officier could have investigated the brother...like i said, but then we wouldnt have a drama.

not a fan of short dramas, but this is one of the rare shows that would have benefitted with just 8eps with better pacing, they could really have taken many bits and pieces out in the middle. next week's eps look interesting.

the trope of ml always playing into ch siyeong scheme without much resistence gets tiring to watch. they should have finished him off in the quarry.

even before the reveal, some of us already suspected duckling brother. why did they not investigate him in the past...it would have been a reasonable part of police investigation particularly when he is tied to their previous main suspect. k writers are always exploiting these big holes in the logic rather than doing the hard work to build natural suspense.

while i only remembered KKH from D.P, and a few big screen roles, he has been around a while, including writing and directing. probably the reason why his character here is so rich...full of lived expereinces.

not getting much from the leads not sure about GM, and certainly not from his man-child character, but SHS has been in much better shows. feels a bit bland...just another show for the sunday night slot.
