Ok so i finished the first episode and omg i really enjoyed. i thought the color grading and atmosphere was very on point with this feeling that's something's ...not quite right. Chiaki looks like a fascinating character & so does Shinobu. If anyone hesitant to watch this show bcs of the infidelity tag stumbles upon this comment, i just want to say that pls give it a chance it's truly worth it.

Very funny how you said "it's korean history and who am i to intefere in the controversy" and then in the very next paragraph started rebutting all the claims and going on with the "does it really" argument.

I don't have a problem with people watching the show internationally but there's a reason it's flopping in SK even with such a star studded cast. Let them judge their own shows on a political level. But intl fans should atleast have the basic decency to not preach koreans about their history & issues.

Also the infidelity tag is right THERE. I think it's dumb to judge drama's just because of the tags but if this particular topic makes you uncomfortable you can just scroll past it on MDL and not watch it.

Writing think pieces & rants about Japanese society (while not even being Japanese yourself lol) over a fictional drama is dumb as hell. Obviously cheating is bad and everyone knows it so no need for the moral lectures every comment. It's a fictional show let it remain that.

Aww man is it not being translated by any group?? I love itagaki rihito and from the clips that i've seen of this show, the atmosphere and plot are right up my alley. Any chance some fansub group will pick this up soon?

Also would like to add that they deviated from the webtoon plot a lot that is why the open ending was decided. If anyone has time i highly recommend checking out the webtoon because it's truly popular for a reason.

International fans still being so angry over cheese in the trap ending makes me laugh tbh because sol/jung are the most popular couple in korea. Yeah the drama might have some issues but i truly believe jung was a great male lead. He was very interesting while inho was your average second lead. The cheese in the trap webtoon was immensely successful BECAUSE of sol/jung and their dynamic. Barely anyone rooted for inho in the korean fanbase.

The male lead is not really to the FL at all so don't worry about it & it's a very good psychological series so i definitely recommend it

Kinda hate how no one is talking about eguchi noriko even though she's the female lead...i understand being excited to see your fav BL ship working together in a new drama but let's not forget this isn't actually cherry magic you know? Separate the actors from the characters 😊

It's horrible and so toxic since the whole point of the orginal webtoon was that toxic men aren't worth the effort and that they'll never change. Nabi actually moves on and ditches the ML. So for the drama to give us this ending is just disrespectful to the orginal writer and their intentions and also just sends a horrible message

Nevertheless easily had the worst ending

Oh no it's nothing like fifty shades. First of all the male lead is the submissive here second the story focuses on their acceptance and overcomung prejudice about bdsm. Honestly if they adapt it well it will easily be on the healthiest relationship in kdramaland

To everyone scared about the content don't worry guys! i've read the webtoon and it's nothing abusive like fifty shades of grey infact the relationship between the leads is very healthy and consensual but even though the webtoon is completely sfw idk if they will keep that in the adaptation.
