This is not they typical fairy tale damsel in distress, emotionally damaged hero type of drama. Plus, there’s…
Sigh. You're right. I guess we have the wrong audience for this. This is the type of drama I enjoy a lot because it explores the psyche of humans who are in love. The other one from the same writer, Fake It Till You Make It is so good. Have you watched that one? And many many years ago, I watched the Chinese version of Sex in the City and it was superb too.
Anyone already completed the episode? Spoil me pls!
Yes. Completed. HE for FL who ended up with Zi Lu. Her bestie also got quite a good deal in the end. Su Su ended up with no one but decided to further her studies.
So glad this movie won awards. I haven't found time to watch the full movie but from the glimpse of some parts, I thought the story was intriguing. I actually like that it's not the usual thriller filled with violence and fighting. If I'm not wrong from what I've watched, it seems a bit incline toward being "artsy". Not sure. But let's hope it'll get picked up by one of the platforms and I'll be able to watch it at length.
Can someone tell me is this show just about cheating?
No, cheating is just an aspect. This show runs deeper and is a realistic interpretation of how a group of young people with different backgrounds and values view/treat relationships. The storytelling is quite interesting. Definitely not your conventional style. You will enjoy the drama a lot if you're not the typical "black-and-white" viewer. Otherwise, some characters will likely cause you head damage. LOL.
He is supposed to support woman who cheated on him first and throw tantrum over, What ML did before they were…
Ok, suit yourself if you wanna empathize with him. It looks like cheaters are doomed to hell in your eyes. Fair enough. But I dislike him whether the girl cheated on him or not. He is problematic even before she cheated. So there. He is not a worthy bf to begin with. He is not man enough to face the issue upfront. Nothing cool or desirable about that. And no, he didn't play with her cos of her cheating. That's my point but if you didn't understand that, just leave it. Save your long POV to yourself.

He doesn't care about FL at all. That's why her cheating never bothered him. He should have broken off with her when she suggested it first rather than begged her to stay. When she decided to return to him, he changed his tune. The thing that bothered me most was he didn't mistreat her to get back at her cheating. If he did, I would have been less bothered. He's just scary because he's so unfeeling. He had a changed of heart and did not dare to admit that to her upfront.
I wish they separate this list by nationality. I think it's fairer that way cos maybe we have more voters who watch Kdramas and don't know Cdramas. Anyway, for Korea, it's Ji Chang Wook and for China, it's Zhang Ruo Yun for me.
Yep everybody has wild days era but the only problem with this show is doing it after 7 years !
I'm up to ep 10 so I need to watch a bit more to check out her boyfriend. I suspect he's got another side that I haven't seen yet. But some people learn later and maybe during those 7 years, she was preoccupied with other things. I've personally met people who are a bit like that and they changed much later so this story progression is not a surprise to me. I'm actually ok with the FL...just hope she'll grow in character and brain, be less naive and find happiness either alone with with someone who genuinely loves and suits her.

Ahh I see what you mean now. I hadn't thought about the 7 years at all cos FL was only 16 when she fell for SML and she started out quite innocent and starry-eyed then. It seems to me she was only in love with the idea of being in love. I think her predator brought out those hidden desires in her she never knew she had. Haha. Human psychology is a funny thing...
This show reminds me of those young and wild days...I remember someone in my circle confiding to be guilty on two-timing or maybe three-timing and another girl said, "but you had fun right?" Sowing wild oats is timeless and classic. Never changes with times, seasons, or generations.
On another note, I don't understand why the title of the show is so weird, even in Mandarin. I much prefer 这里没有善男信女.
Zhou yu tong's boyfriend basically cheats on her with xi wei.
Do you like satires? If you do, you might like this one. The entire show is interesting to watch cos as audience, our emotions are not being played and we're watching and smirking cos we know what's happening and what's coming. I'm up to ep 5 and there's no angst. It's not your usual drama formula. There is a theme for every episode.
Super loving this! Reminds me of Fake It Till You Make It which I love a lot too. Realistic and clever portrayal of questionable M/W relationships that's done in classy way without overplaying with audiences' emotions. Brilliant! Very surprised to see ZYT in a guest role here. And Xin Yun Lai...I've got my eyes on you! Why are the creeps so handsome huh?
