I am so sick and tired of people being so harsh towards Ji Xing. It is fine to have differing opinions and I see…
Exactly! So many people just think and act like Han Ting and feels they are right to call her childish or any other names. We've watched enough dramas to know what is real childish and insensible but Ji Xing is not that. Sure she might have exhibited some childish behavior but those were moments she was angry. These people are talking as if Han Ting is god.
My biggest beef is also that...that she was kept in the dark and that's the trigger point that caused her to become irrational. Even XYX warned Han Ting to tell her earlier before she hears it from others. But he kept saying it isn't the right time. His sister called him out in ep 32 too which means there was something not right about the way he handled the situation and acted toward JX. Does he do things in her interest? Well, yes. But is he right all the time? NO. I might have missed it but I don't recall him apologizing for not telling her. Of course people are saying he doesn't owe her an apology cos it's business but aren't they lovers? She said she understand the confidentiality issue but Han Hai is different cos it's her biggest rival and she has said she feels threaten. If he had communicated earlier and explore all possibilities with her, it would not have come to this. Why blame it on her only? If he had talked to her earlier and she still went ahead to do all the irrational things she did, then yes, I'll say she's stupid.
And saying she cut off all communication being childish. Seriously, she has already confronted him and he came with his talking down on her is already enough. Does she need to hear more from him at this point or say anything more. NO. Cos he's just going to shoot her down with his high and mighty talk. Maybe some people love man like that I don't know. I like Ji Xing cos while she doesn't have all the qualities of an entrepreneur, she doesn't cower.
The grandpa is so right. They're not suited for each other cos they have different values so they're not going to see everything eye to eye.
* Oh btw, I saw on IG that people are commenting about the later scenes (which I don't know too much details) that without HT, JX would die but isn't it because of HT that JX may have died? I wonder if these audiences want a damsel in distress who would be so charmed by HT and deem him as savior and just accept everything he does as gold.
That is exactly where she didn't think rationally and logically. She's behaving like a kid who doesn't understand…
I see her emails to her staff as professional because she could have left without a word to them. She accounted her departure to them and gave a proper closure. It's nothing cute. Ji Xing's management style has always been caring and that's consistent in her departure notes to them.
Your description of the whole conflict from JX's POV! ππΌππΌππΌSeven really did a great job in…
Lol. You pointed out everything good he did for her except the one thing...he deliberately kept mom about his stake and his intention to merge her company with the rival company. That was the trigger point is it? How mature was he in handling that? If he had the guts to open his mouth, things wouldn't have turned ugly.

The whole problem is...Han Ting hid the info about his stake in the rival company even after they were in a relationship and after she voiced out a few times about her worries that her company might be taken over one day. I was actually shocked that the merger too place so quickly. He had so many chances of telling her but he didn't. So you mean she can't be angry? I really have no issues of her outburst. Cut her some slack there. Look at how professional she was when she briefed her staff and wrote them goodbye emails. She single-handedly sabotaged everything they built together in their relationship? Han Ting played a bigger role here. Even his sister said that and he couldn't deny it. Even if his intentions were good, his execution was poor.

I don't see her as being unreasonable and irrational. What I saw was a person who was hurt and angered by someone she trusted because of his lack of communication. Sure, some things she said were hazy and stupid but I didn't see her as a spoiled child. She was angry and blurted some nonsense. But that's your opinion and it's fine. It's like I find Han Ting too entitled and arrogant, always acting based on his POV of what he thinks is good for business or for her.
Which she didn't really need to do. She chose to leave
I think before the entire incident came to light, she already voiced her fears that one day, her company would be taken over by the bigger rival company. If Han Ting had chosen to tell her the truth then, perhaps they wouldn't come to this stage. Can't blame her for her doubts about his intentions really. Like what his sister said in ep 32, it would be strange for her to continue to be in a relationship with him given what has transpired. It's more than an ego issue. IMO, if she chooses to be in remain in the company, it would be better for her to keep their relationship professional. But obviously she can't.
Han Ting couldn't retort when his sister commented about him using Ji Xing in ep 32 to achieve his goals. Maybe he didn't want to engage his sister in that convo but it was quite clear he felt guilty because there was some truth to what she said. I'm also glad that she mentioned it would be strange for Ji Xing to remain in that relationship after all that has happened.
To me, it's more the other way round. That ML doesn't love FL that much although he is very caring toward her.…
And when did I endorse that statement? Hello? Please read comments carefully next time and don't make sweeping statements about the commenters by writing stuff like because y'all childish women are obsessed with words of affirmation! Anyone objective enough would know both of them were at fault. To me, the guy's action didn't sit well with me. It's so obvious that his sister mentioned about it in ep 32 and he couldn't even retort that.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. No need to be rude by calling us childish or any other names just cos we take Ji Xing's POV have a different POV from you. That's really childish. This is just a drama discussion. Not every woman has the same needs. Some just need more validation and that also does not have to do with age. Ji Xing just has more insecurities. After all, the man she's dealing with keeps talking down to her, reminding her of his resources and her weakness. How can she not be insecure? Maybe HT has his reason and while I can see that, I'm not enamored by him and his behavior and am more pro Ji Xing. I don't know what's so childish about that.
So Team Ji xing, Team Han Ting or Team Neither (as they're BOTH at fault for the break up πππ)???
I'm more pro Ji Xing. If it's not cos it's XK, I'll wish for her to stay far far away from him. He keeps doing things he thinks is good for her and tries too hard to control/change her to suit him/his purpose. In real life, this kind of relationship won't work. She's right that he has no heart cos I feel he has no respect for her feelings at all. His POV is to protect her from a business standpoint but she is all about their relationship. The grandpa is right...they're too different.
At first I was sad and wanted to avoid their breakup, but I'm slowly getting bored of the sweet moments and need…
I find this stage annoying because of the different parties involved but at the same time, realistic. I actually quite like that they included this topic of suitability in the relationships. Let's see how they handle the breakup.
Is the ML weak in this drama? I saw a post on Reddit that described him as a 'doormat ML.'
Nah, he's not weak. Neither is he a doormat. He's a strong character who respects his wife and knows how to influence her to her own benefit without being manipulative.
