2. Although they start off on the wrong foot. Menglin is attracted to Jan Ning/Luo Shu from episode 1 by her choice of ballad and playing style of the pipa after hearing her play. Not because of her beauty nor that she was the top courtesan at Mingke House. And not intending to win her virginity. She starts reconsidering him in small increments from ep. 3 after Luo Shu gives away all of the things Menglin had bought and forced her to carry and he didn't get angry. When he gives his snacks to the starving crying boy, they switched to her looking at him. From then it is a battle between his bluster and being foolishly rich versus his good heart and his willing to stand up for her. The tipping moment between Han vs Menglin is in ep. 17 when she plays the pipa in the Yamen inner courtyard. It becomes open in ep. 29 when she bandages his hand and later he says that if she is not willing to marry him, he will wait a lifetime for her if he must.
3. Not a breakup but one tries to push the other away rather than facing death together. Twice once in ep. 32 and the other ep. 36. Both in prison.
4. Yes, but only one other couple has a HE.

Good points. First let me say that I'm sorry that the lyrics transcribing has stalled. But should inspire me to finish it up. Mrs Guo was the neighbor. I don't understand the Mandarin. Lucky you who does. I always thought Qin Yi meant that he hadn't killed her when she rushed outside. I suspect that her parents were already dead by the time the fire started. In that flashback, the parents didn't cry out while the house was burning. Unless her nightmare earlier showing the parents burning was real. I think that her joy with her last meal with her parents and then sneaking out for a midnight snack might be the genesis of her fear that all good thing are only temporary.
Another point about the poisoned pastry was that 1. it was her favorite and Qin Yi would know that, not anyone in the Qin household. and 2. his reach extended into the Qin household. No place was safe and it could and did put everyone in the household at risk. Thank you and take care. Still look at favorite Menglin and LuoShu scenes. Almost every dat recently.

In the past she was the dog and he the tail. There is smarts and girlishness in her. Some of the smarts showed in her expression when she marched in with the plan for him to be the model and during the photo shoot. But that is the kind of endearing character Jin Ki Joo plays. Lots of good will accrued being the loyal, capable and long suffering lap dog in The Secret Life of My Secretary.

In the scene after that as he approached the wall with the newspaper clippings, his eyes looked downward but the next shot as he looked at the clipping about the gold, his gaze was level. Had he earlier looked at the photo of the teachers?

I liked her Mother's actions too.

So he found out first, and then there was a scene of quiet contemplative. But she earlier felt the quickening beat from his eyes. I like that it's coming together.

The dramatic music ending that scene implies that the presence of clones under X Capital wasn't a good thing. And Richard Choi the replacement attorney from HQ would suggest that the people of X Capital was pretty soulless.

Ep. 5.The scene with the shotgun. I recognized the voice. "I'll make more money.," she said to He-ae.

Bittersweet. She chooses love and happiness over life. With full understanding of her fate, she promises to save a spot next to her in Cloudland. If she can come back, they can meet again in Cloudland. Watch because it it is very sweet.

It is about a mother who dies but promises to return when the rainy season comes. Yuuji believes in this story and thinks that his mother will come back when the rainy season comes. And surprisingly... she actually does.
When it begins raining on a June morning, Yuuji runs out into the forest to the special place where he used to play with his mother. His father, Takumi chases after him to get him to go to school. When they arrive at the old ruined building where they used to play, Yuuji's mother, Mio is waiting there completely alive and healthy, but she has no memory of them or anything that occurred during her life.

I may be that Cha Hyeonu was made to be kinda frumpish so that he matches the laid back appearance of Ji Songyi.

Not bad. But the subs make following the drama rather difficult.

Possibly the very end offers a hint. She again wakes up before the attack. She knows what will happen. There is a chance to change everything. That may be why she smiles at the end.

She has a chance to warn her husband and change the ending.
