Does anyone here know that you can mark your comments as spoilers? Please donāt mess up the drama for people who havenāt watched all the episodes yet.
Donāt do it. If you want to torture yourself and wonder why people do such stupid things, you might like it. I can never get the hours back that I wasted on this show. Iāve never fast forwarded through so many episodes of a drama in my life, and Iāve watched a lot of dramas. Maybe it didnāt age well, or Iām not a good match for melodrama-makjang type shows. The 1st two episodes were good, the adult-age male lead is hot, and I really wanted to like it. It just did not work out. It should have been 4 episodes long, not 16.
I just watched Money Heist Korea and could not remember where I had seen Kim Yoon Jin before. It was driving me crazy! I finally found that she was in the American TV show Mistresses. She did a great job playing the psychiatrist and I really liked her in that role. She was also in the very popular series Lost.
Iāve loved Seo Hyunjin since I first saw her in Another Ms. Oh with another favorite of mine, Eric Mun. Iāve liked her other dramas like Temperature of Love and Black Dog, etc. too. Sheās one of my favorite actresses and I canāt wait to watch her in Why Her.
In the beginning of the series, how did Yoon Jae Guk know to tell his older brother to deliver a package to Ha Young Eun? It means Yoon Jae Guk knew who she was before his older brother ever met her. I donāt remember that being explained. The story dragged so much and Viki took forever to add subtitles, so I wouldnāt be surprised if Iāve forgotten or missed some things.
I canāt even listen to the sound of her voice anymore. It killed any curiosity I had left. Not I am breaking…
She talks so factually about love, itās hard to believe she really cares for him. I got tired hearing of all her excuses to not be with him. He deserves someone with a heart.

Iām not trying to take away from the seriousness of this issue by recommending a romantic drama to watch. Youth of May is a romance, but it can introduce you to the history of what happened. Itās not all romance; there are disturbing scenes where innocent students and others were arrested, tortured or killed because they wanted to have a democracy. It also shows how peoples families were torn apart by the false allegations. There was no reason for the government to think they were North Korean spies.
If youād like to see a drama that shows how pro-democracy advocates were accused of being spies in the early 80ās, watch Youth of May. Itās a recent K-drama from 2021 and you can see it on Viki.
