I wrote my comment more than two months ago. Since then MDL has updated some information about this upcoming drama and just now added the female lead & the directer. But yes I'm pretty happy actually as well
that they casted Kim Ji Won.

For me every episode has the same feeling to it.

At first, I'm bored out of my mind, then a cute scene, still bored again
and towards the end of an episode they create hints or some sort of conflict and I think 'huh this actually might be interesting next episode'
but then they show the preview destroying any hope.

To me this is just bland.

honestly, it really didn't give me tvN vibes. I was sure up until now it was another networks production.

At the end of the day, Suits will be Suits. Both American and Korean versions are awesome.

I've been trying to find out what song it is. If someone knows the song title and artist please let me know.

Even though the lyrics are in english I just could'd get a long enough verse of lyrics only little snippets but they are just not enough for google to know what song it is.

The plot sounds like everything I don't like but because of Jang Ki Yong I will probably end up watching this

Then the age gab is really not as big as they made it seem. I guess it's really more of an issue because none of their friends and family would expect them to date

I think I must have missed it. Could someone please tell me the age the two main characters are supposed to be.

it's better than expected. What I liked so far in those first two episodes is that I felt empathy and immediately connected to almost every introduced character or at least where they are coming from & what they are like. even the mum and sis who I guess are suppose to be those very typical annoying characters aren't dull and as annoying as in other dramas. Also since I'm on the note of side characters I absolutely loved the best friend.

usually, not only in kdramaland but in any other movie that I've seen whenever there was a body shifting going on and the character is shocked and horrified by that
the viewers are getting a good laugh out of it. But here they took a different approach which made it not as cliché which I liked a lot.

I still have high hopes that we will get subs on those free kdrama sites but with a weekly delay similar to what it was like with 'Prison playbook'

Jang Geun Suk is definitely a guilty pleasure actor for me. I can't help but smile seeing him.

I wish I would like this drama as much as everyone in the comment section does.... I guess I just grown out of high school dramas.

How I would summarize it especially the last two episodes:

A masterpiece tha screams 'fuck you' to your face.

Actually, it's more like a whisper because you do kind of suspect & see things coming but deep down you know the writers are just fooling you so you wait for the twist and the twist is there is no twist. But at the same time there are sill things you did not expect. It is an amazing drama but one that eventually leaves you frustrated but also that's what kind of makes it good.

same writer as in six flying dragons & Song Joong Ki .... count me in!
The only thing I'm hoping for now is for them to cast an amazing actress as the main female lead and not just some pretty face. fingers crossed.

I really liked Sooji's character (complex, confident & not the typical boring kdrama second lead girl)
until I realized what novel this is based on and now I'm anxious they are gonna make her a total B. Unfortunately in the ep last week we saw the writers laying some groundworks for exactly that.

This is the first time ever me hoping for the writers to be not following the original.

On the other hand, if they do make her a total B. I hope they do pull of the original ending.

I guess I'm having very mixed feeling about this drama. But I still love it.

Even though my last comment was rather positiv this is what I have to say to those who haven't seen it and are debating with themselves whether they should give this a try:

- do NOT watch this if you hate love-triangles. You will absolutely hate it!
-also do NOT if you expect a good fashion sense. It's bad, really bad and not because it's just outdated - I remember cringing about some fashion choices even back then..still do, now

Well, it's considered a classic for a reason.

I am currently rewatching this and I still love it.

I really really like this, unexpectedly. On the other hand, the current rating (8.0) on MDL kind of does make sense.

I don't know what it is about this drama
it's not bad but I fully agree with its rating;

the plot was intriguing and characters weren't one dimensional
but they somehow were boring I didn't care about them that much.
Also it's just such a very typical kdrama in every way
that it just felt like I've already seen it.

Nevertheless, I would recommend this drama
but only to those who are new to kdramaland
(because they won't feel like they already know each and
every character and its development); and to those who loves and misses old school kdramas because like I said the plot itself was not that bad.
