I’m enjoying JJS performance here a lot! There’s so much emotions in his eyes! The gazes he gives Mong Woo🤭 & his crying/tearful scenes. JJS plays the emotional aspect of Jin Han very well & the serious parts.

JJS face suits historical dramas. I know he was in Nokdu Flower but I haven’t seen it. It’s been a long time I’ve watched his stuff since OMyGhostess.

Because of the rumors of Jin Han being a spy of the enemies & to dethrone the king.

Moon Gun Young was phenomenal in painter in the wind. She portrayed a young man very well - the mannerism , lower tone voice, & no makeup.

They can make Jin Han bisexual! That would be great. He can like men & women 🤭😌 He’s a royal grand prince, he can have the man or woman of his dreams!

Also, You should check out Jeong Nyeon! It will be released in Oct 2024! It will be a women-centric drama with a great cast of women actors! It’s based on a Webtoon with actual queer women characters & relationships! I’m hoping they stick closely to the Webtoon story! Especially the queer love story/couple.

I mean if Jin Han likes dudes that’s not a problem to me. He can like both women & men 🤷‍♀️ that would be bold & neat because you don’t see that kind of character for a king/prince in saeguk/kdramas.

I just wish SSK portrayal/the presentation as a man was more believable so that Jin Han seeing Mong Woo as a man makes much more sense. Then the reveal/revelation of Mong Woo being a woman to Jin Han later on would hit much harder/effective.

I think if they didn’t give her makeup at all to wear as Mong Woo & changed her voice to a slightly deeper tone she would pass as a pretty man.

But yes it’s interesting far so I’ll let it slide 🤣

In terms of the story, I like it. Palace politics isn’t bad. The usual. The cinematography, production set, costume is high quality. The editing is flawless. Appropriate music. It’s movie-like filming. Overall the cast is doing a nice job. Veteran actors & many familiar faces.

JJS as Jin Han is so good! His eye /face acting is on fire 🤭💖❤️‍🔥He really sells the good nature-sad-tortured-happy go lucky-serious prince who wants someone he can confide in (like Mong Woo).

I like SSK here. ☺️I don’t have any issue other than the blatant makeup on her face. I don’t know why the producers thought it would be good for Mong Woo 🤣 It breaks the immersion. I feel like they decided to keep it on her face so they don’t have to reapply her makeup when she is not Mong Woo 🤣😒

The two leads have AMAZING chemistry OMG. They’ve only know each other for a few days but it seems like they’ve been friends for a lifetime already. The sensual TENSION is there ❤️‍🔥🔥💖🤭 When they are together I’m like JUST KISS ALREADY 🤭🤣 I love the scene when they played baduk together for the 1st time 🤭 & when Mong Woo helps dress Jin Han.

My only complaint is SSK not looking like a man enough 🤣 She is too pretty. The makeup is too modern.

The numbers isnt looking so good at the box office 🥲 but it seems like the response for Alienoid PT 2 is much more positive than the 1st part. So I’m glad everyone who went to watch it had a great time!

Yep. It makes more sense to have a women/actress play Mr Goh given the context of the story.
