Imagine seeing videos of your sister used as pornography all over the internet and not being able to do anything about it for years & people shit-talk about your sister. That’s pretty rough thing & she was only a kid/teen when that happened. And she lost her sister. I think she’s doing just fine & her reaction to the situation is valid. She’s pretty tough to me.

At least he has some integrity lol. That I can respect.

It was really heartbreaking. When I first read the manhua & got to that part, I really hoped he would reunite with his parents. I was like NOOooOo whyyyy how could u Xia Da lol. Like both MC is a sad orphan bunch lol. But I love found families. o(╥﹏╥)o

My first time watching LJH in a drama & he’s really hilarious & engaging lol. He’s handsome here & I like that his character is nice but also messed up in a twisted good way. He can packed a real good punch lol. I’ve only seen him in Time to Hunt.

PYG is really good cryer lol. She has major ghibli tears. Her crying scenes are great.

Yes most definitely. It’s different experience from the drama but it’s really amazing. I think if you love the drama, you’ll enjoy the manhua. It’s very straightforward.

A’sun & Chang Ge’s dynamic is awesome. You get more of A’sun’s backstory. His character arch is so good.

I’m actually impressed that the females characters actually has a role and does something.

I mean without GE, KDG wouldn’t have known where the U-database was at. Heck, the only reason why he was able to get through and bypass a lot of things was because of her.

KHN also has a role. She’s pretty much the moral compass but also the one calling the shots for arrest. KDG can’t do that as a vigilante. I think she also serves as a distraction too which helped KDG from getting caught lol.

SM is a human trafficker keeping all those gross flippers in check lol. Although she needs tighter security or people with more brains lol.

I’m not sure about the drama but in the manhua, A’sun mother is Khitan.
A’sun goes find his birth of origin where he meets his relatives. His mom died unfortunately which was really sad.

I nearly lost it when CEO U-Dumb*ss rode off on a light scooter lol.

When KDG landed that punch into CEO’s face, that was so satisfying! I’m glad he’s six feet under. Doesn’t deserve jail on taxpayers dollars lol.

I don’t think Chang Ge’s mother could’ve found another way to survive unless she faked her own death? I mean that would’ve been something lol. Her husband tried to create a rebellion.That’s something that isn’t taken lightly.

Manhua wise, it’s much more vague. The story is told in full context. But Chang Ge’s mother was in deep depression & bullied. She didnt aknowledge Chang Ge growing up so I’m not sure if she wanted to live on. But there was too much hurt in her place so it’s all bittersweet & sad.

I’m not too sure about Leyan. She could’ve but does she have the drive to do so. Does she have that passionate rage? Maybe or maybe not. She’s not cunning as Chang Ge. Change is a very flexible & resourceful type of person, especially manhua wise.

Depends on the situation. Drama wise, I haven’t gotten that far into the story since I stopped watching it. From the manhua perspective, she has every right to be angry & her revenge is totally valid. I mean her uncle had her family all murdered lol. I love a good revenge story & morally grey characters, especially flawed female characters. Characters that falls from grace are really interesting but the manhua itself isn’t about that either. But I do hope Chang Ge meet/confronts her Uncle sometimes in the manhua when Xia Da plans to continue it.

I have my own gripes about the drama but it is what it is. For the manhua, I’m totally stoked for it. It hasn’t ended so, I look forward to seeing Chang Ge & A’sun’s journey unfold.

I could care less for those two as a pair lol. But, yes try Longest Day in Chang An. It might be something up your alley.

I was afraid KDG was going to fall into the stereotypical stoic & edgy male character but he’s really funny lol & nice. He has a lot more personality than what I expect. So far I’m enjoying it. I like the cast of characters. Some parts are a bit over the top but hey, that’s kdrama land lol.

I love when KDG assumes multiple identity. He’s really working his way to get that theatre degree lol.

You should definitely try watching Longest Day in Chang An. I hate the villains but I also liked them lol because they’re complete a-holes but also engaging. The protagonists are definitely worth rooting for. The villains are definitely the kind you love to hate.

The music is AMAZING and the cinematography is topnotch with a high production value in terms of the set designs and costumes.

Agree. I don’t have to like a drama 100% wholeheartedly. Constructive criticism or critiques of the show is completely fine. Heck, people don’t really need any reasons to enjoy or not enjoy a show or the characters. They can simply like it or not.

I stopped watching TLB at ep 32 but I still like Chang Ge & A’sun, not just as much as the manhua.

That’s why I skip their scenes. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
