I’m still trying to grasp the world building- structure of the cursed objects.
From what we’ve seen so far,
- a ghost can transfer itself into replica of the same object (like the cursed photo) & the ghost like the yeommae (most powerful ghost) can transfer itself into diff people & give them certain abilities & desire and lives inside (connected to) these curse objects? - a vengeful ghost like the yeommae tends to come out either at night or when the host is at their weakest point (also during rain & around large pools of water - like the river) - Heading to the EAST is where the Sun rise (ghost avoids this)
The ghost latched onto the mom because she held the red tie in her hands & when HaeS opened door, it came inside. I’m assuming when it got a bit burned something happened?
Someone ran up the hill away from the scene when the cops found HaeS & his dead mom. I’m assuming it was SY’s father who took the red tie & ran away. That’s why it’s in his possession. But who carried HaeS into the mountain side? That is a mystery 🤔
