Caught on to K-drama's specifically while I was in college around 2009. Been a fan ever since. As far as K-pop, I'm currently following BigBang, Nell, Taeyang, and BTS. If you know of other hotness along these lines then hit me up!

Top Action Film: Now this was the first, Asian action, movie I saw where I started recognizing some words and looked up the language and found out I love Korean cinema. This movie went so hard, I was completely captivated the whole way through. I was already on the hinge but this movie really opened my eyes to the brilliance of Korean storytelling.

Top Musical Drama: I know most people would probable say Dream High or one of the other biggies, but I really had a hard time picking between "What's Up" and "Shut up Flower Boy Band" but lets just be real. When it comes to realistic story line, intense character development, and believable acting, and captivation as a whole its all the way "Shut Up..."

Top Indie drama: This is actually my favorite category of film. I'm really big into human stories and getting to the essence of why people do what they do, probably why I'm a counselor. This was a really tough one too, I mean you have Treeless Mountain, Penny Pinchers, Nineteen, and Miss Ripley. But none of these can top the performances given by the cast of Punch

Top Comedy: Now this was a toughie, I mean you have Rooftop Prince, Protect the Boss, A Gentlemen's Dignity, and the Reply 1990's series. As far as non-stop laughter I have to give it to..

Top Romance: Now This is a genre where Korean cinema really has overpopulated with just 0_o. But a part from their love triangle formula, there are a lot of real gems with in this genre. One of those being Padam Padam, Like the whole angel story line was weird and I guess doesn't really match an American audience but everything else was genius. I am not a crier by far, I grew up in the south and men don't cry in the south, but I sure did on the last two episodes.
