I love their attitude. They do have a real good relationship and not afraid to show it. They keep everything professional, not pretending to be something else nor trying to avoid each other. This is how it should be done.

Totally agree. But at least in this page, I didn't really see much negativity in fact I see quite a lot fans of "that particular show'" also liking WOH, which is great. Can't say the same thing in Twitter or other media though, and I'm just avoiding those antis as much as I can. But from what I see, a lot of antis (not all of course) are those who are fairly new to Chinese costume drama and that drama is their first encounter, thus they are quick to assume that WOH is a copycat and tries to replicate the success of that drama, which is definitely not something you'd say if you're familiar with Chinese ancient drama genre. A fan even went all the way to write a very long essay in A03 explaining the difference between xianxia and wuxia :D

In all fairness, WOH also started at exactly the same place, low budget, no promotion, no big name actors, zero expectation, but then the show spoke for itself. I was also wondering why K&H didn't get much attention, while most of the people who watched it praised it (at least in MDL). I just checked the Douban rating, and it's only 5.9 which is not very good score.. so I guess it's not very well-received in China?

I think it's different Wang Kai, this one is a voice actor. The one is Nirvana in Fire is an actor, just sharing the same name.

I read that Douban's rating is locked and each rating percentage remains unchanged for a long time already. I don't know why it's locked for such a long time. My guess is once it's unlocked, the score might go down a bit, but still it is an impressive score.
For comparison, Long Ballad, which is one of Tencent's big projects with lots of liulang actors, now only scored a meager 6.4.

I'm now obsessed with Word of Honor, thanks to it I finally can get out of CM withdrawal period. It's not exactly BL, but a BL-adaptation drama and I have to say the leads' chemistry is off the chart, no less than Kurodachi ^^

Now it's 2 weeks before the event, and no news yet whether intl fans can participate, I'm getting impatient now... CM, please don't disappoint us!!

Honestly I'm totally fine with people promoting other drama in this page, in fact I'm grateful if that drama turns out to be a good one. I appreciate your way of promoting it. But as others mentioned, a particular user did the same thing back then and in not a very nice way, causing it to leave a bad taste for the users here. And uhh, that user turned out to be a homophobic at the end.. >_<

NB: Actually I don't agree that H&K didn't get enough attention because it aired at the same time as WOH, a good show will shine regardless of other shows. It didn't get much attention in China either, so the problem must be with the show itself, maybe the editing, promotion, ending etc. But it shouldn't have anything to do with other show, imo.

I heard they're going to Day Day Up together, hope it's true. ZZH is currently filming, so probably he can't take time off that often, but it'd great if they can go to another variety show together.
