Idk... I would rate anything low if it did not satisfy me. I rate start up 3 because I already drop the show and it kinda scam me how good it is in the earlier episodes but then it went downhill and illogical. I consider giving anything that is worth watching till end 5. Other than that lower than 5.

Because the writer wants a dodal game. Imagine Dalmi and Jipyeong dating in that 3 years. Dalmi dump Jipyeong for Dosan after he came back, that is immoral shit there. So it is better to paint the second lead as being coward to save the face of the main leads and their love story.

It did come overnight for Dosan, he likes her at first sight. And for Dalmi as well because she thought Dosan is the one wrote the letters so she accepted him right away unlike with other guys she rejected.

What illogical is Jipyeong and Dalmi relationship who did not progress for 3 years despite the fact jipyeong already confess. It is not overnight it is 3 freaking years. Dalmi seems like she dragging jipyeong without giving him a proper closure and jipyeong also didn't outright asked her again and suddenly 3 years later Jipyeong wanna do it again because of Yeongsil? And miraculously Dosan came back at the time he wanted to propose to her after
which he did not do in 3 years and also coincidently Dosan came back after becoming successful. The truth is the 3 years skip was just to make Dosan successful since he is the main lead. Dalmi and Dosan should have just been together, what a drag, how are the gonna drag this with 3 more episodes by making Jipyeong the ultimate obstacle in their relationship.
