I don't mean to come off as rude, but I think you might be expecting something a little different from the show😅 Teasing and joking at each other's expense has always been a big part of 2D1N's humor. It’s true that S4 is much tamer compared to the previous seasons, but that kind of dynamic is still very much part of the shows overall concept

I’ve watched all of S4, and I do agree that the original cast had a much more wholesome, family coded dynamic, I looved their dynamics so much!! The different PDs also had their own styles ofc (and some were definitely more lenient with the members, which contributed to that softer atmosphere) The current PD has been around the show through previous seasons, so he’s familiar with that side of 2D1N as well. Personally I find the teasing and chaos to be the funniest part, they can be genuinely close while still constantly messing with each other, not taking it personally.. but to each and their own of course :')

Last weeks 2D1N episode (Treasure Hunt on Geoje Island Part 2) was replaced by a special broadcast amid the severe heavy-rain and flooding damage in the Geoje area. The episode was postponed for a week and aired this week instead !

Idk if i'll be able to continue watching after that whole flashback being AI... Im fine with the intro being AI cause I can just fastforward it, but when it's actually in the drama, that's a whole other story

At a certain point there was a Chuseok Special episode that aired in Korea but wasn’t added to Kocowa/VIU, which would explain why its off. The episode count on MDL is the correct one iirc

I personally really like their dynamic!! While yes it does start out pretty toxic and he is constantly bothering him over the fact that he is the son of a murderer, it doesnt last very long as he realizes it doesn't make him as happy as he thought it would. Definitely zero torture, just him trying to get in his head (and into his bed too out of spite lmfao)

Yeaaa.. I dont really like it either, but I was just saying this cause I saw one or two other bls which also listed the country of release rather than the country it was filmed in. Unfortunately every single title gets uploaded by a different person and I would imagine everyone isn't on the same page about it or hasn't gotten the memo

China famously has very strict censorship and can't release BLs within their own country so a lot of recent Chinese/Taiwanese etc bls have found a work around by releasing it abroad (Thailand or Singapore for example)

I'm assuming that's what's going on here too
