they're whole plan was mediocre from the getgo. cuz tell me why wi ha joon failed to tell him about his brother…
heās protecting his murderer brother. I think he believed that his brother is held captive against his will, when his brother is one of the masterminds and enjoying all those sick games.
The fact that Gihun can still trust let people in, let alone 001 like that, is so freaking dumb. Should've gotten…
and knowing that last time 001 was also someone from the game, so Idk why he couldnāt connect that link at all and trust him just like that. Yes, his philosophy is kinda annoying, I couldnāt support him when he could think of sacrificing some people just for his plan to stop the game and sort of revenge? Heās not a hero
almost 50k users put in their ratings and this drama still at 9 rating. It just means majority of users give this drama high rating because they love this drama. I donāt understand why people like policing on what rating each drama deserve š¤·š»āāļø
Kim Min Jung is a good actress, but Iām kinda tired to see her plays this kind of character, like can we have a fresh face or can she take a different role next time?
She always play the āvillainā kind of role and she gives off the same vibe each time ever since Mr. Sunshine.
Yep the TV rating for 2nd ep jump up after the already good numbers of 1st ep. If the upward trend continues it…
I think the highest rating for Channel Aās drama is Show Window: The Queenās House and itās makjang drama, people just love that type of drama. For this drama to get >2% for just 2nd ep is a good sign because Channel Aās dramas are always low in ratings because itās a cable TV network and not as popular as TvN & jTBC
Let's be honest. almost to 50 Min into ep 1 was sorta Boring. No wonder rating started of low. It was giving some…
It was only little amount of time at the palace in ep 1 and this drama centers around the guest house, not the palace.
Itās kinda different dynamic because we donāt really see the annoying ministers begging for the King to do this and that during assembly. Itās also shown that the royal family has no power as Yeoncheonruās owner could wear dragonās symbol and the guests there are served with food that only King was allowed to eat back then.
To me after watching ep 2, I find this drama refreshing because itās interesting to see such guest house in Joseon era.
Not too sure if they show in which year is the setting of this drama, maybe the writer didnāt intend to put…
I might be wrong because there were too many Lee Yeon/Un/Eun name during Joseon era for King/royal family. But anyhow, we could think that the setting might be in the late Joseon era because of the business trading with foreign countries
I'm kinda losing the intense interest I had in this drama. Still love the couple, the acting, and really love…
Lowkey agree with you. I was obsessed initially because itās good and intense during the phone calls, and now Iām gradually losing interest after BSE knows HHJ is 406. I know the writer canāt keep dragging that plot forever, but itās kinda so-so to me after the revealed and like you said, obviously Hee Joo is not gonna care whether Sa Eon being the real son or not.
But Iāll keep watching it for the sake of finishing it, but I didnāt find myself to wait for this drama anymore. I watched Saturdayās ep today because Iām no longer anticipating and excited for new episode.
How are there champagne bottles and glasses and forks in Joseon?????
It could be late Joseon era? maybe in the late 1800s instead? thatās why Yeongchuro exist using dragon symbol which should be a sacred symbol for King and during this time, royal family might not be too powerful anymore and westerners influence might already be in during trading
for those criticizing the use of glass cups and other modern elements in this drama, it's important to remember…
šÆ Joseon dynasty existed for more than 500 years, it could just be that this drama happened at the later period of Joseon, thatās why such grand guesthouse yeongcheoru could exist that they could use dragon symbol and even wear Kingās robe.
It might be setting at the late 18th centuries instead
Am I seeing things š¤ They just showed champagne š¾š„ glasses cups forks barbeque...all this in joseon era??š¤£š¤£
Not too sure if they show in which year is the setting of this drama, maybe the writer didnāt intend to put it as it might have a backlash of historical distortion. However, if we look at CPās name is Lee Eun, which historically in Joseon era, Lee Eun on this drama could be Lee Eun the late Joseon dynasty (1897-1970), so this drama potentially set during late 18th centry and early 19th century. Thereās already influenced of westerners and other countries by then. Thatās why they have the grand guesthouse and they could have ācustomer as Kingā as motto of the business which they couldnāt do it if itās in early Joseon era as King & dragon symbol should be sacred.
She always play the āvillainā kind of role and she gives off the same vibe each time ever since Mr. Sunshine.
