But before you vanish from my view, tell me more about being on the wrong side of wherever you think we are now that Xiang Liu has been proven once and for all to be the definitive best character in this whole story. People couldn’t care less about that lame endgame, meanwhile everyone is in mourning for the THIRD MALE LEAD who happened to outshine everyone else.
Oh, don’t worry about your conspiracy theories about favoritism or anything from Tencent because Tan has worked hard to be where he is now, taking him almost a decade to be recognized for his talent. No need to buy hot searches or bots to elevate his work. His work is pure art, the materials put out by his studio clearly show his love for his character, and his approach to his craft speaks for itself, and if he had any additional screen time is only because Tencent understands the audience’s interests. As for the ultimate fail, it’s because y’all have been accusing XL of all sorts of inaccurate things since the first season, but this wrist thing has got to be the most absurd. I guess stalker Jing is perfectly fine in your view.

Some thoughts from someone who is (1) the ultimate Xiang Liu defender, (2) the ultimate Jing disliker (yeah I’m using an euphemism 🤭), (3) hasn’t watched anything since episode 8 but is following this series closely:
I’m truly happy about the overwhelming support and amount of love shown to Xiang Liu. I’ve been saying from day one that he is the best, most consistent and well-written character in this drama. Even if all the others were done dirty, at least him, despite all the cuts and questionable editing decisions, remained a fan favorite just as his novel counterpart has been since 2013.
Now for the rest of the characters, good luck to y’all. Sorry about the butchered plot, limited scenes and such but y’all wouldn’t be a match to XL in any way so it’s fine. I’m only legitimately sorry about Cang Xuan’s story arc, and ZWY deserved better. It would have been great to see him off that fox for good, even if he had to be brought back to life (yikes). But all in all, they all pale in comparison to the MVP.
So all hail Xiang Liu. We may have lost him forever but he’s the only one people will be talking about for years to come. ❄️

Anyway, since his fans say he’s bigger than Xiao Zhan and he’s the reason why Lost You Forever is so famous, I guess nothing is really surprising anymore. Cheers!
