Someone said here that there was a fan war between YZ and JCT'S fans on Weibo. Can someone tell me what happened?I…
There was but hopefully, that has already calmed down. Several of his fans' accounts were suspended on Weibo and Douyin after being reported for some ridiculous reasons. Too many fan arts of Xiang Liu, too much support for his character, overwhelming majority of edits pretty much everywhere. I guess he wasn't supposed to shine as much as he is. ๐
Hope they never come after my fan arts. I can't help it if he's the only character I want to draw every day 24/7 ๐
Is the nine tailed fox related to the Tushan clan in chinese mythology?I didn't watch any of fox series dramas…
I'm biting my tongue to prevent myself from saying something mean lol. Such a struggle. ๐น
But I can see some similarities. Okay, I'll stop. HAHA
Edit: Fine. I've been coerced to say it ๐คฃ I only wanted to point out that an entire drama having a protagonist called Tushan Hong Hong, who happens to be a fox spirit from the Tushan Fox Clan, was always doomed to be a flop. A coincidence? I don't think so ahahahahahahaha
I'm not on any shipper camp but after the red clothes scene, I am certain the production deliberately doing this…
He doesn't, but if they understood Asian culture, families who have been saved by a person usually have a memorial or a little space at home where they pay their respects to the one who died so they could live. XL should have a whole temple.
Actually this site did a mistranslation of what was posted by Datawinโ being the most beloved character this…
Well, thank you for your concern. Duly noted.
Oh, the original post by this @loverofpurples person you so gracefully shared with us said something about "People mock with Yangzi due to your wrong translation! Pls correct it @cnotiz".
Not sure how the translation was considered a form of mockery to her, but eh. Since you said it doesn't affect your fandom, then great, I will take your word for it. I also agree it does not impact her at all. Good day!
Unfortunately, most of my encounters with "YaoJing" fans have indeed been encounters with Jingers. I'm sorry if it bothers you (it bothers me as well) but I'm yet to find one who in one way or the other does not fit this description. Always distorting facts, always trying to minimize Xiang Liu's importance in the story. I'm not sure if you're biased towards him or not because it is difficult to keep track of everyone's preferences. So if you are, my apologies.
But I'm going to be honest with you. I have ZERO liking for Jing as a character. I must put this out of the way first so you can understand where I stand. I dislike him with every fiber of my being. He is a fictional character, after all, and I think I have the right to feel what I feel towards him.
Now that that is out of the way, don't worry, I won't take this wrong way because, at the end of the day, this is all a silly discussion and none of this bears any relevance to our daily lives. We are adults, after all.
In that sense, and out of respect to you, I'll refrain from using this term again (which I coined myself) in a more general manner, but I will keep using it directly at people who so much as try to distort facts to suit their needs.
His fans can swoon over Jing as much as they like, we can't change people's tastes, but if I see Xiang Liu being misrepresented anywhere in a dishonest way, all hell will break lose, be it in a serious manner or my usual jestful manner. Hopefully jestful.
Thanks for your message and you have a good day as well.

There, I said it. ๐ญ๐
Bring on the fox rage, I can take it. ๐น
