I watched this because of Zhao Huinan and never familiar with Gao Yang works. Both of the actor are delivers their role and i never expected both can do comedy,

It's hilarious and worth the time to watch. The storyline is different from other shows. It's very funny and i noticed ML eye bag was growing BIG as the story goes because FL was stressing him out. I love that for he. The combination between FL's fierce and domineering FL combined with the ML's arrogant and aloof demeanor is a perfect match for fire energy person.

The ending was quite unclear and i haven't found the season 2. Worth to watch.

Main Problem: No sparks between WHZ and HCY and Sloppy Production

I watched this on last year because of Wang Hao Zhen and the premises was very promising at first but it turns out to be my biggest disappointment from him.

The plot lacks twists and turns, as does the romance, making it overall quite uninteresting. The acting itself isn't the main problem; Wang Hao Zhen and Hou Cheng Yue still delivers the role but their acting weakness was obviously shown as chemistry almost non-existent and there is no sparks between them. The plot execution was the main problem and the production team were lack from the way they editing the drama.

There are too many close-up shots, and the lack of filters and beauty effects exposes the actors' flaws in appearance. Every screenshot is unflattering; to exaggerate, this series is truly a disgrace to the leads reputations. Even the most handsome men and beautiful women can't withstand such close-ups.

The color tone is also poor, the camerawork is terrible, and there are many meaningless long takes that leave viewers confused. The kissing scenes are also full of close-ups, with no background music, resulting in neither aesthetic appeal nor any atmosphere.

I never rate Wang Hao Zhen drama lower than this .Even two of his dropped drama was better than this, ugh.

The fast paced and decent reborn drama

I watched this because of Tik Tok advertisement and it was decent drama even there is less romance in this drama.

I never expected Cheng Cheng can be so youthful. Cheng Cheng and Ma Le Jie have great chemistry FL's appearance as a basketball cheerleader was stunning! Their interactions are quite sweet, but there aren't many scenes featuring them. The humiliation scenes are smooth, without any major mishaps.

The script is clichéd. FL mistakes the person who comforted her, leading her to chase after a scumbag. After her rebirth, she turns back, only to discover in the last few episodes that it was her childhood sweetheart who comforted her. There's also a lot of verbal sparring from the SFL, FL hiding her wealthy identity, the female supporting character getting humiliated at a wealthy family's house, etc. In this version rather than focusing on reborn, it more focusing on ML secret crush to FL.

I watched the same version but personally it was the most decent chemistry. Recommended to Watch.

The ending was more abrupt than Moonlight Rush

Actually i watched this first but put this drama on my shelf and done Moonlight Rush first and people on Douyin said this version was better since there is Zhang Chi (i didn't notice it was him). But i have to disagree with them this time. Moonlight Rush was far better than this.

Many reviews of "Moonlight Rust" recommended this one. Well, maybe many people have preconceived notions. Both are good dramas, but there's no difference in quality. This one is shorter, so it doesn't have as many details as "Moonlight Rust," and the emotional descriptions aren't as delicate as Moonlight rush.

The plots are basically the same. FL's character is excellent; once she decides to divorce, she doesn't look back without hesitation. When seeking revenge, she doesn't have a saintly heart and directly gives the mistress a silver bracelet. ML is more of a supporting character, with more kissing scenes with the SML, and she only ends up with ML at the end (so why was everyone criticizing Moonlight Rust in the first place? i never understand)

The acting and looks are both good, SML is also very handsome and Gao Ming acting was decent than Zeng Xitang, SFL is a bit weaker but doesn't have much screen time.

Still decent watch though.

Quite decent History Fantasy drama

I watched this because both of leads are my favorite but the romance in this drama seems weak but i quite enjoy historical drama so i can tolerate this drama (I quite like 1930-1950 history so i eager to watch this).

FL accidentally travels back to 1936 Paris, where she meets ML, a seemingly calculating man with a deep sense of patriotism. Together, they embark on a legendary journey across time. From initial mutual suspicion, they gradually become partners, jointly protecting cultural relics and supporting the anti-Japanese war amidst the turmoil of the era. Ultimately, they go their separate ways for the greater good of their country.

Their romance develops in a relatively peaceful setting, with some plot points involving struggles for national survival added as turning points. FL is a time traveler, so she's very determined about the future, and her change of heart towards ML is based on her understanding of the future, making good use of her expertise. The screenwriter is quite clever with this. Chen Fang Tong's crying scenes and Wang Hao Zhen's deep affection are both very moving and this is one of the greatest selling point in this drama.

ML isn't some unrealistic hero; he's an ordinary person who uses his wisdom to reclaim national treasures. The story of ML and FL going from enemies to partners is neither melodramatic nor mindless; the subject matter is positive. Although the plot is largely predictable, it's still a good work.

Recommended to watch for hisotry fantasy enjoyer.

One of the best Zhang Jinyi-Lu Huanyu dramas.

I watched this last year but i only found out the page and rewatch it when i missed Zhang Jinyi-Lu Huanyu combo.

FL is quite pretty, and her character is good—she gets revenge on the spot and hasn't suffered any major injustices. TML hasn't done anything too outrageous either. There's a misunderstanding about a "white moonlight" character, but it's within my acceptable range. The production team seems to be relatively well-funded for a short drama, which explains why so many people watch it; it's really quite good. The kissing scene was good and the comedy was quite on point, the best part when ML put a ring into FL middle finger and she only show middle finger to everyone.

Recommended to watch.

If romance subplot was more slower, i would like this drama more

I watched this because of Jia Yi Xuan, her recent works are quite letdown some of her dramas are on my on-hold lists so i tried this her drama with Wang Yiran. The beginning is even better about undercover agent who look like FL brother so FL took a fancy for him; the romance between ML and FL falls in love too quickly and feels a bit cliché. The romantic subplot isn't very nuanced. I still prefer the FL when she's a powerful underworld boss—she's both yandere and arrogant enough. Both of leads acting were decent but actually it not make impressed enough. The chemistry was okay to watch but not to make me giggling, i am just nodded on this.

This drama takes the old tropes of body doubles and undercover agents and gives them a fresh, poignant feel! There's no artificial sweetness, only the agonizing struggle of knowing the danger yet being unable to resist approaching. Personally the romance development was too fast if they come slower i would like this drama more.

Still decent watch though.

I quite like Fang Si Chang attire in this drama

I watched this because of Wang Kaimu and personally i just quite like Fang Si Chang's attire but her acting still average and nothing special for me.

ML is particularly good at flirting, flirting with her from the very first meeting. If you like watching Wang Kaimu's kissing scenes, you should definitely check it out. However, I felt that many parts of the plot were a bit strange. For example, why didn't the ML and FLs recognize each other at first meeting? Later, when they wore masks, they would recognize each o
ther sometimes and not at other times. ML's behind-the-scenes identity was hinted at but not really explained.

if you only watch it for the visually appealing ML and FL, this drama is pretty good.

Fl's character was being nerfed in here

I watched this drama after watching another adaptation with Zhang Jinyi and Yi Hang but this drama was quite waste for Zhi Chun He skills. Her styling was quite good but the plot was flat and weak.

No need to nerf FL character into love stuck person. FL is portrayed as weak, the plot is flat. I just sigh when knows the FL's magic was about to fail, I knew I was doomed. Sure enough, she needed a kiss from ML to restore her magic power.

The story feels like a mere formality, lacking depth. The ending, with the FL being kidnapped and the ML taking the fall, feels forced.

The biggest lack was Gang Wang Xing acting (he suits modern drama more than ancient) and the romance felt so abrupt that I couldn't connect with the plot at all. There is no chemistry between the leads.

Only to hardcore fans.

Waste of both leads acting skill

I watched this since i like both of leads but ended up didn't get any satisfaction of this drama. The plot was quite angst but there is no angst at all if you see masochism, it feels so half-baked.

The plot is somewhat weak. Besides the excellent acting of i Shengjie and Zhang Jinyi, nothing could be offer from this drama. FL doesn't recognize ML just because he's wearing a half-mask? That's a bit exaggerated. The scene where the ML's identity is almost dragged for long time. that's short drama for you.

The chemistry between Zhang Jinyi and Li Shengjie are quite weak compared to their other respective main leads. Even though the kisses scene was quite intense but it lack tension.

Only for hardcore fans.

Lack of chemistry

I watched this because Wang Kaimu but i don't enjoy this drama like other people do.

Actually plot is too disjointed, the pacing is fragmented, and there's too much focus on the romance between the ML and FL. ML's undercover work and FL's domestic power struggles are barely shown, resulting in an overall monotonous and dull experience. Wang Kaimu and Ye Xinxin are gorgeous people but they still lack of chemistry and tension. Ye Xinxin s acting is somewhat weak despite having strong face feature. And yeah it was boring drama.

There's really no need for watching it twice or three times; once is enough. Absolutely not my cup of tea.

Decent drama about cliche plot

I watched this long time ago and it was considered decent from the year the drama was released. Zhao Zhendong plays as amnesia CEO who become father of FL's children. The drama contains generic plot like one-night stand, amnesia, and even verbal sparring between FL and her family. I quite like Zhang Jinyi portrayal of FL, she is not love brain FL and not too damsel in distress when she was bullied by her stepsister and step mother.

For the chemistry, I have no doubt about Zhao Zhendong and Zhang Jinyi even almost no romance scene between them, it feels warm to see them interact with the kids especially Zhao Zhendong. So I understand why his earlier works was become dad. The comedy was there but it feels quite weak and the romance development was quite slow.

The cons was Zhang Jinyi voice was being dubbed.

Still worth to watch.

It still too raw to be drama

I watched this because of Zhang Jinyi and i quite expected reverse harem but the pacing was to fast and messy especially in the middle of drama the scene was too fast and plot was kind of messy. The premises was actually good about FL who transmigrated into harem and get liking from four previous harem that being humiliated by her. The harem MLs was quite not memorable even the Chaplin assassin and don't expected kiss or romance scene. The system was practically useless. If the script could be polished and the character could be more developed it would be better.

Avoid this at cost.

Snoozefest

I watched this since i want to watch Wang Kaimu but his presence felt like cameo instead of Male Lead since he is just appear as System in FL mission.

The plot basically tell about FL journey after got second life and she become celebrity while on her first life she was obese girl No romance story (Yeah it's from Li Jing Ye, Do not expect romance from her) and almost 70% of drama is about verbal sparring and i was fell asleep when i watched this. I don't have any heart to dropped this drama so i just fast forward this drama and the ending was not great either.

Not recommended to watch.
