The similarities almost gave me a whiplash! I couldn't concentrate. But Jae Won's character is 10x better than…
Agreed, unfortunately Jazz for two is rushed and so ultimately Tae Yi character development is rushed as well. My biggest complain is about the assault and homophobic comment he made to Se Heon. It shouldn't have been rushed topics, and that's why people (rightfully) don't like his character in the end /:
And am i the only one who was reminded of Jae Won from The Eighth Sense when seeing Tae Yi? They look quite alike and have sometimes the same expressions + their past and the way they deal with it felt similar to me
I really enjoyed the beginning and i always love a good ennemies to lovers trope but it felt so rushed! Some subplots seemed unfinished (i wanted to see more about Se Heon and his father or Do Yoon and Joo Ha, and i expected more angst from the "big brothers in love" revelation). Also, big TW on SA/homophobia, i didn't expect to see so much of it. But mostly: can we talk about how fast Se Heon forgives Tae Yi and Joo Ha about it?? I didn't like how easy it was for them to get away with it. Actors were good tho, they were convincing so I'm waiting to see them in other series!
ahhhh this was so intimate from beginning to end! and the way Iwanaga leaned on the table to face sleepy drunk Miyata?? chemistry is on fire, this is so good
i have the same feeling as when i started Semantic error and couldn't get enough of it!! We're only at the beginning of 2023 but i already know this series is going to be one of my fav KBL this year!
Does anybody know what’s the title of their theme song? The one playing on the credit
during the credits its written "Main Theme Song: DEEP [Darlin'] (Sony Music Labels)" but I couldn't find the song anywhere, so i guess it's not officially out yet 🤔
thank you for your explanation!! i really didn't know anything about it before today so it was kinda confusing during the episode, I'll check your source :)
Sorry in advance if not everything is correct cause i only did few research on it to understand what was the meaning of it in the series for them to talk about being "Alpha" so often.
So basically, there are 3 genders in the Omegaverse: Alpha, Beta and Omega. Every 3 weeks, Omegas release pheromones during 7days. Alphas are extremely attracted by these. As for Betas, they're basic people who have control over their body. Alphas are considered the elite of the society, and Omegas on the contrary are considered as inferior because they make Alphas "insane" with their pheromones. Betas are the middle class. So Alphas prefer to marry with other Alphas to have children with higher chance of being Alpha.
The lore is even more complete than that so my advice is that you do your own research for the rest of it cause i don't want to write a long boring comment, but yeah i really thought that Alpha only meant to be extremely manly and virile, but apparently not 🥲
just found out about the Omegaverse thanks to (or because of.....) this lmao, i mean, i knew about the Alpha Omega Beta thing, just not that there's an actual lore to it
Not sure if i liked ep4, it felt really rushed! Tew liking Guy isn't new, but the other way around is too sudden. Guy doesn't understand his feelings and is still completely under Whal's spell, and yet Tew says "you're angry because you like me" and Guy's like "oh yeah, makes sense, let's kiss"?? But I mean, maybe they did this on purpose to create angst later, e.g. Tew will think him and Guy are an end game but it was in fact too fast for Guy who will still be super close to Whal and will have to admit to Tew that he's not over him yet. 🤷
