It the only non BL work of harda, and the most wholesome one. It's Japan they could turn it into BL.There was a…
so maybe they did a bit of adaptation then, cause i admit seeing the tags on MDL confused me a bit after reading the story ahah š i guess we'll see gow it goes for ORA then!
Have any of you read the manga and don't really understand how it's a BL either? The manga made me think more of a platonic relationship, but without any real romance. Especially as the angel is a minor and Kouki is in his thirties. The angel didn't strike me as being that young in the series, so maybe they changed his age to add romance?
1) It's beautifully shot. I was thrilled by the lighting, the composition, the colors, the landscapes... Everything was very artistically thought out.
2) It was a fun watch! Amane is an amusing, endearing character with a story I can't wait to discover. As for Ryuji, he's subtly sarcastic/mocking sometimes yet really caring and I love that about him.
3) Nobody does it as well as the Japanese: show less to suggest more. The scene where Ryuji almost runs into the wall while playing basketball and comes face to face with Amane? DELIGHTFUL. Japan knows how to create huge tension out of little things like that. Every little gesture, every touch is full of meaning, even though they may seem insignificant from an external pov.
