I don't know if it's just my feelings or if it's true, several times I've seen Chinese dramas whether it's a love…
BL's hair and wardrobe in this drama is amazing. My only complaint is actually with RJL - he's missing a belt in all the scenes where his shirt is tucked in and he's not wearing a suit coat. The scene that really comes to mind is when he carries her purse.
After re-watching episodes 1-10 of Forever and Ever for the 3rd time, I started watching OaO clips on Youtube...oh man, I'm so glad I'm not going out tonight - 1000% ugly crying complete with snot running down my face.
My heart is still broken, I don't know if even FaE can mend it thb. I really miss the cast.
To be honest, in the novel I just don’t feel the love, respect and attention ZSC has for ShiYi the first 10…
YES! Thank you for putting this out there. I think that's why I'm loving the drama adaptation more upon re-watch...I had to first get over the difference between the novel and drama and then I notice all of the little details upon re-watch. I actually love the scenes where it shows ZSC coming to terms of his feelings for SY without them being in the same scene. The scene where he eats the burger outside of her office and whenever Uncle Lin teases him about SY - the way he smiles is just A+.
Just putting this out there and be prepared to be shocked by who is on there: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PoBONk0jVQwDisclaimer:…
LOL this list just has every popular actor thrown in there. The kissing scenes chosen also sucks - how can they introduce XK as a good kisser without showing the kissing scene between him and BL from The Legend?
This was my most anticipated drama to watch ever since they announced it last year. I read the novel 3-4 times in preparation (I would go back to reread my favourite parts whenever I was bored lol). Especially after watching One and Only, my expectation for Forever and Ever was through the roof.
At first, I was slightly disappointed. I think it mainly stemmed from ZSC's character difference between the novel and drama. Or maybe it's because I I read the novel so many times that watching the scenes play out on screen almost felt redundant, like I've seen the scenes played out in my head many times already! lol
Happy to say that I've re-watched the first 10 episodes 2-3 times already (mainly skipped scenes for the support characters) and I appreciate and love the drama with each re-watch. Love the soundtrack and I can't wait for more!!
I especially love the scene where ZSC proposes to SY over the phone. I can feel their pain when he said he won't bother her again if she declines his proposal - both of their fists clutched at the thought of never seeing each other again - my heart!!!
Other two dramas of MBFB it was mentioned are Go Go Squid! and Scarlet Heart?? They're comparing those two with…
Wow, the comparisons are so unfair that's not even funny lol.
Can't say anything about Forever and Ever since the drama hasn't air yet. But regarding My Sunshine and Scarlet Heart:
From what I can see, both of those dramas were aired on TV (not web only like OaO), airing 7 days a week (and SH was a longer drama at 45 episodes). I have no idea how a web drama can expect to compete against ad revenue from TV aired dramas (unless maybe it's a big production like YAMG with Tencent throwing tons of money to promote it). The premier date for OaO was announced like a day or two before, it was so sudden and barely had any promotions!
All the episodes for OaO were released within 10 days from premier - I feel like it didn't really get a chance to pick up heat before the entire drama was released. Again, it felt so rushed!
I'm honestly so happy that despite all this, it managed to build up such a passionate fanbase!
Yes, it's not bad since douban has a lot of haters that will rate dramas 1 star and trash the actors without really watching the show. For comparison, Song of Youth is rated 4.8 or 4.9 I believe.
This is Bai Lu's highest rated drama with the most reviews so far! Before OaO, Honey was her highest rated drama with 7 stars.
How much of this cast returns for forever and ever or is it just the ML and FL I thought that prince might
Only BL and RJL are cast in the modern drama.
In the novel, modern ZSC has a completely different face as well (like the other characters) but SY recognized him immediately despite him looking completely different (because his beautiful bones remained the same). His modern character is described as plain looking lol.
Guess they didn't want to cast another actor playing the same role, which make sense!
