I found it weird that they seem to have cut the kiss they show in the DARN TITLE SEQUENCE. It’s clearly shown right before the start of every episode but in the actual scene with the lanterns: nothing! Why would you do that?!

On ep 6 and so far so good. The drama is so unserious and I love it for that. I’ll give it a full 10/10 if they keep the silliness up but alas. Expecting stupid stuff to happen and all kinds of unnecessary shit to hit the fan bc what kind of cdrama would it be otherwise?
This was… something. I mean, the basic plot, the setting, costumes, delicious angst, chemistry; very much present. But the format and editing was insane. Wth even is 2 mins/ep??! How’s that a thing????

Nah, they actually know and love e/o from before but both think the other is dead. When they meet again they have new identities. She’s more like a concubine to his stepfather (who is impotent and attempts to pimp her out to business partners). Idk if all of this makes it better or worse

They call her concubine so probably not married per se and the guy kind of tries to pimp her out to business partners himself. Also someone mentions her ‘husband’ being impotent so they never consummate. Pls do not ask how and why I managed to gather so much insight into the insane plot of this drama lol

He was a hoot! Also loved the bit where he tried asking the girl out right after getting his promotion. He probably was on a high, felt like everything was going his way,, so why not go for it with the girl? DENIED lmao.

MOGA confession kiss scene was so awkward with him giving his all and her looking like she’d rather be elsewhere. They could’ve implied it or simply obstructed the view, shot from a distance or something.
But I think it’s supposed to be a fish kiss here; ML is shocked and probably feels FL isn’t fully committed. He also has that principle about mind/body aligning before skinship. So maybe he doesn’t want to taint their relationship until he feels she really loves him.
I'll always remember this for the hilarious bts situation during the airing when the three LEADS hated where the story was going so they took the piss out of it.
